Ill be very disappointed if they will play their LAST EVER show on a festival. And they need to visit countries they have never been to instead of going to the same countries every year.

Yes,I'm totally agree with you dear WilhelmSc,it is terrible choice play their last show at Wacken,they should think to play the "final show" singing all their old classic songs,but surely we will hear again the same tracklist of 2010 and 2011 ,please dear SCORPIONS,change your setlist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, if their last show is in Summer they should tour January to July non stop.. to be able to play a last time in North America and europe and i thinks they should play some show in Australia!

But there's one mistake in the article. Scorpions didn't play in Kazan in 2002. Instead of it they played in Nizhnyi Novgorod because the sport palace was busy with the basketball final and Tatneft arena was built only in 2005.

i heard some month ago that the wacken open will be their last show.. and i thinks it should not be a festival too.

How would their last show being in Wacken prevent them from coming back to NA?

well i hardly believe they will tour 2012 non-stop until their last show i thought their last show will be at the end of the year. I heard they will be back in Russia and they should play Australia since they never played there.
i doubt they will get time to do a full tour in 2012, Amend will boook them where there are big crowd...

I hope its not true,...if its really like that,it will be difficult to be there,...when its confirmed here,its already sold out,...the last years its sold out before all the headliners are known,...and its on August,so no time to travel everywhere around the world before,...They better called the Final Sting,the Last Sting,..or maybe better the Lost Sting,...
Anyway ,i hope they continue the whole 2012 around,and maybe still a part of 2013! Then it will be 20 years ago i saw the Scorpions for the first time,...

I don't believe that 2012 will be a non-stop tour just cos' Klaus and Rudolf are 62 years old and they are not robot ,I hope they will tour in Australia for the first time, and I dream about a tour during 2012 with Hermann Rarebell and Uli Jon Roth,dreaming and still dreaming

yeah i know that they will not tour 2012 non-stop. it's why i doubt they will be back in North America, if not they will play only a couple of shows... they will play where the get the best offers...

And best offers means more money ,I repeat once again: it doesn't seem to be a farewell tour,and I don't think they will play just a couple of dates in north america,I think they should tour with the old members of the band and retire,that's all!
