SAFETY WARNING

SAFETY WARNING

Unread postby HANS33 » January 27th, 2011, 9:51 pm

Question to Webmaster:
The link to the forum has been changed from:
http://www.the-scorpions.com/phpbb3
to
https://www.the-scorpions.com/phpbb3
But the "http" one still works.
The https gives a "safety warning" in many browsers because it means you're going to a secured site. Everytime you go from a subforum back to the mainforum, you get a security warning to click (I believe in earlier versions of IE, you could mark "do not ask again" or something, but I see no such option in IE8...). This is quite ennoying for me, and I suppose for other users as well.
BTW in Firefox you can ask "not to warn" anymore, like in the older IE.

Is this something temporary?

That happened to me, as well, but it resolved itself. I beleive, it may just be a browser configuration....?? :D
