Hello from the Southern US

I can't remember when I wasn't a Scorpions fan. Ironically, I have never been able to catch them live but it's time to rectify that. I have been driving my friends nuts since hearing of the retirement because I'm going back through each of the CDs...playing them and taking a walk down memory lane through each stage of the Scorpions career and the time in my life when each was released. I truly, TRULY wish the band all the best in this next chapter in their lives. I sincerely hope they don't disappear, though. The music they have created over the years has spoken to many of us, and that dialogue will be so sorely missed if it would stop altogether. I don't know if any of the band members read these posts, but thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for the music. You are poets, indeed.
