Dear readers, I hearby bring you the report of the tour-pro-reporter Hans33, since he´s got some problems with posting here..

From your reporter at site. A short review of the "Dortmund day".

I am becoming more and more a "lazy tourist" when going to Scorps concerts. The first concerts I went to by car, and I took my sister with me. After
that I still went by car, but alone (my sister does not want to accompany me any longer ). Next one I was too lazy to drive back home, so I
stayed in a hotel the night after the concert. And the one after that I was already too lazy to drive my car, and took the train. And now yesterday, I
took a taxi, which is even more luxuruous then the train. Indeed, Ron (cameleon), the keeper of the Belgian FOS flag, drove us (Kristof, Joanne, their oldest son and me) with his "powercar" all the way over the Ruhr-autobahn to the concert. This "people-carrier" has plenty of room for the passengers, a radio to play some music to get in the mood already, a big boot, that could be filled with food, drinks and warm clothes (just in case if we would get snowed in), and all modern safety features like ABS, ESP, TCS, AFS, IPS, EBA and most importantly TPM.

It must have been about 16:00 when we arrived at the Westfalenhalle. There were already about 30 people waiting at the gate, which is a lot to German standards. We saw Marc and Nancy there (who had arrived the night before), and also a couple from the Netherlands, and joined them. It was still not too busy, so sometimes someone could leave, to go to eat something, or to take pictures (there was that unpractical pick-up, the Amarok). It seems that Rudy had given the keys of his ride to his son Marcel. In the stadion, next to the arena, there was a sold out (80000 people!) football match, and there were many football supporters passing by. Luckily that we had come in time, because it would become very difficult to find a parking later in the evening!
While waiting, we saw Yasmin and also Toshiko, inside already, and we were shouting and waving to them as if they were rockstars. Yasmin was nice as always and came to say hello to her fans, but Toshiko probably thought that those crazy shouting people had to be football hooligans.
In fact, there were a lot of people being let inside, so many, that some of the waiting people, were beginning to doubt, if they were going to be rewarded for letting their feet freeze off all afternoon. Around 19:45, we were let in, and when we finally found the entrance, the first rows were indeed almost completely taken. We found a place in the middle of the T, on the second row. I was standing behind two Japanese fans, so no visual obstructions for me. On their right were 2 young girls, a German and a Polish one, and they were so kind to make themselves a bit smaller, so that Kristof's son could also stand on the 1st row. On my right, Joanne, Kristof and Ron. Marc, Nancy & the couple from the Netherlands, had found a place in the first row, at the RHS of the leg of the T (note to the female readers: RHS from perspective of the audience  ).

After some waiting, Edguy started. Same setlist as the earlier shows. Short but good. Although the sound was not as good as in Cologne. The music (guitars) did not come through as well. But still happy to see them.
At a certain point, Ron had a bit of a difficult moment, but after some stretching, that soon was over.
Tobi is playing all the typical "rock group" games with the people (like splitting the audience in 2), maybe a bit predictable sometimes, but always fun! But of course, everybody was waiting for...

...something else. BANG BANG! I found it a nice atmosphere during the concert, and kept myself busy with the things I usually do during concerts, like making phone calls, now and then making a spastic movement with my head, it has even happened that my hands have been in the air, and, the most embarassing of it all, I have opened my mouth sometimes, and there came noises out of it!
And to remember afterwards, that I have been there, I also took some photos. The ones from Dortmund are from photo 110 and further. After TBIYTC Klaus took Ron's flag and kept it during the complete acoustic part, maybe he was a bit cold.
The setlist was the same as in Luxemburg, but Herman was not there. But there was another ex-drummer (not on stage). After the show, we spoke to him, and he signed Ron's flag.
After SLY, Klaus held a long speech, to thank all the members of the crew for a great tour so far.
During this speech, there was suddenly a drunk German "hooligan" standing between Kristof and me, who wanted to say something to Klaus. When I friendly tried to explain him, that the guys on stage could not hear him, he asked: "Who the hell is that guy?". My reaction: "WTF? It's Klaus of course!" That was not the most clever reaction of me, now he started shouting "Klaus! Klaus!" all the time, and also smashing Kristof a little bit.

After the show, we saw Petra & friends, Glick & her mum (nice to meet you!) :D, Marina & BF, some people from France (I don't have any names) who came to recollect their flag, which was saved by Ron (the security made us clear the arena quite quickly, and there was a bit of excitment, because the flags were still on the stage) and also a fan from Hungary whose name I don't remember (maybe Ron still knows). We also tasted some typical German Bratwurst & Bier. And we stretched our legs a bit, Ron and Kristof like walking, and admiring the architecture of arenas.

At 1:30, we set out for Belgium, taking the same Autobahn but in the other direction. Well more or less the same Autobahn, around Eindhoven, we did some sightseeing.
Around 6:00 I was home, ready for a lazy Sunday. :D
Thanks for convincing and inviting me to go with you Kristof & Ron, I'm glad I didn't miss it.

I can post again.

Thanks for posting my review Lennu, and sorry to everybody that there are a bit too many "enters" in it, I sent it to Lennu "in code".

Oh Hans b, it is simply a brilliant review, full of your great sense of humor.
I laughed so much while reading it.
from Hungary, Hmmm unfortunately, it wasn't neither Luky, nor me. :cry

Anna, and Hans, just a question: which kind of Net-surfer do you use?
I used the forum with IE, but I had problems with it, I mean, for logging in, I didn't realise what the problem was, but an informatics friend suggested me to install FF, too, and to try the forum with it.
The forum exists perfectly with FF for me.

So sorry for off-topic, just wanted to help Anna, and Hans.
Klaus-THE SPECIAL ONE,
Rudolf-THE WISE ONE,
Matthias-THE COOL ONE,
Pawe-THE SIMPLE ONE,
James-THE CRAZY ONE,
