He tells about tours, concert, about meeting with other popular people and that he wants to have a pilot's licence ;)
he tells about Scorpions this: who knows, maybe will be the next album, we will see.

If you are going to the show and if you meet up with him. Please clarify his statement..I know in April 2010 he said he was going to beg The band to extend the tour for 5 years and not for only 3 years...

I'm just wondering if it's wishful thinking from Pawel or is it a true statement..

The band is to young to retire...Rudy and Klaus are only 62 and if the Stones,The Who and Paul Mccartney(The Beatles) can still be touring..why not keep going..The Scorpions are playing to sold out Arenas and Stadiums all across the world in 2010..this ride can keep on going for another 10 years..

Yea they aren't so old, but I don't think they could hold this frequency of tourdates, this on-stage energy for the 10 years to come...I remembered 'em saying they were a "live band" and they enjoyed giving us this energy, so maybe they wanna play this way and not ending up like grandpas each one, in one corner, without moving so much as they use to. Of course, I'd like them to continue touring, because they're at the top, but maybe it has to do with the image they want to give, I'd feel the same in their position :) Anyway stopping touring doesn't mean stopping music, I don't expect people with 40 years of live experience suddenly stop making music. I dunno actually, only tell will tell.

I agree..but what i have said for years is that a huge stage production can hide a band slowing down..the stage can take the focus away from a band slowing down..Glen Tipton of Judas Priest just turned 63 and Halford is 60 and he said he expects Priest to be around for 10-15 more years..so keep up the big production shows and they can exist for another 10 years..

Plus the band owes the fans a true farewell CD..Sting in the Tail is a good CD but not a great CD...

Thomas as always you are 100% right..Fire Amend and get good management and also reunite with Dieter Dierks in the studio..bring back old members and do a true farewell CD..

I don't know about this statement, it depends on people actually... I find it to be a great CD...What do you think is lacking so it is not a great CD to you? ( kinda interesting to know your point of view)
Besides isn't this long tour around the world with so many tourdates a proof that this is a deserved farewell for the fans?

fos daddy wrote:Im so *** tired of never hearing any variety of Scorps songs on the radio etc etc

yea, definitely... I also saw things and terms on newspapers like "underrated band and blablabla" and other things that shows a great ignorance in the end. gets me sick.
