This is me saying "hello"

Hello everyone.
My name is Konstantin I'm from Bulgaria. I'm 18. I've been listening to Scorpions seriously for a couple of years now, at first I had only heard some of their hits rather than whole albums. Besides Scorpions I like listening to various bands mainly in the metal genre - Iced Earth, Manowar, the Russian Aria (Ария), Rebellion, Megadeth, Кипелов (Kipelov), HammerFall, Sabaton, WASP, Amon Amarth, Folkearth, Ensiferum, etc.
Apart from that I love reading - it's difficult to point out a specific genre of literature that I prefer over all the rest so I'll go with authors - I love Tolkien's Middle Earth although I find his books difficult to read. I like Stephen King and Ray Bradbury but I'm still getting familiar with the latter. Sergey Lukyanenko's "The Watch" tetralogy is also among my favorites. I'm also waiting for Bulgarian publisher to come up with a translation of the last novel of "The Witcher" series by Andjei Sapkowski. When I'm in the mood I may read something lighter like Agatha Christie or some of the Sherlock Holmes stories.
I'm currently in my senior year in high school hoping to study law in university. I have some pretty vague interest in philosophy (but that's ok cause philosophy is also quite vague) and history.
I don't have many hobbies. I used to do some LARP-ing (Live Action Role Play) but now I lack the time to travel around the country to attend all kinds of small games so I rarely show up at games.
Well I think that's enough "I"s for now. :D

Hello you, Konstantin, and welcome :D

I´m glad to see you read a lot. Reading all kinds of literature you can get your hands on never goes wasted. All of it stays in your mind in one way or another and leaves a seed for your own world structure. If and when (I´m sure you will ) you enter the university to study law, there´s no reason why you couldn´t participate in some philosophy lectures, too, then. That´s what I did, when I was studying : Apart from my compulsory lectures and lessons (languages) I chose a lecture with an interesting sounding subject every now and then, just to satisfy my curiousity (philosophy, antropology, history of arts, literature etc,). Anyway, some people chose their secondary subject when they were inside, studying their main subject already. It was much easier then, also, to get a place in another faculty, since you were already accepted as a student once.
Ok, things may work differently in your country than mine (Finland).

OH, Yes .... and you have a great taste in music, too !!!!

Welcome aboard. :)
Live action role play sounds interesting. Were they connected with fiction (like Tolkien) or based on real medieval battles?

PS: nice lecture of you, Len  as always

Both actually. Most of the games are fantasy oriented with magi, orcs, elves and so on. But there are other games which are based on episodes of Bulgarian history, although they are still rather fictionate than an accurate reenactment.
And again - thank you all for the welcome.

Seems that those games are interesting, and if you spend more time researching, Magi is really great to know about, I like digging deep into what I'm attracted

Welcome Konstantin have fun here, greetings from the US
Nobody knows the band Grand Funk? The wild, shirtless lyrics of Mark Farner? The bong-rattling bass of Mel Schacher? The competent drum work of Don Brewer? Oh, man!

Hi, and welcome to the forum Konstantin.
My main hoby simultanously with listening to music is reading.
I am open-minded of somany kinds of genre of literature.
I am so very sorry, but I am not a huge fan of fantasy, but really like Stephen King, and some interesting novels of Dean R Koontz.
I am also interested in philosophy.

Enjoy posting here.
