One hello from Engel-Wegweiser

One hello from Engel-Wegweiser

Hi everyone. I see it is well to make a topic to introduce, so I hope I didn't something bad =)
My name is Dasha, I was born in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. In three days I'm moving to Lithuania to study in European Humanities University. I will turn the other page of my life with the sound of Scorpions music. Really, I listen to them and only to them about a week already, 'cause they make me feel better and always send me a positive rock-wave through the years. I already imagine my 4-hours road to Vilnius with their songs.
I'm young enough and that's why for a pity I started to listen to Scorpions not long ago. I' always liked alternative, rock and metal, but the "meeting" with Scorpions was only about 1 year ago, and now it is my favourite band.
One week ago I bought 3 DVD's of Scorpions because of the one occasion. I watch TV very-very seldom, but in one day I decided to do it and at last caught "Scorpions Acoustica" on a music-channel. I was really impressed not only because of the music, show, playing and singing, but also because of... the one of the guitarists! =) That's funny, but I didn't know even their names, I just listened to the music. But when I looked at the screen I was really fascinated with the man who was smiling during the almost all concert. His eyes were so alive, and smile - so happy, I even could say that he's shining. I had a thought that if I had none in my heart already I could fall in love with that man. I've interested and the Internet let me to know that this guitarist is Matthias Jabs.
Good thing - before this concert I was upset, but after I was happy enough. That's why I've decided to find this DVD. I didn't. But I've found "Scorpions - he Videos", "Moment of Glory" and "Concert in the Jungle". When we (me and my good friend) looked through the videos, we had the same thought: "Why we weren't born earlier?" Because I know that if we were born about 30 years ago, I would be a fan of Matthias, and we with my friend would go to the one of the concert that was the same crazy rocked like those we saw in "Passion Rules The Game".
Now Scorpions, their music is my rescue, and thanks to them I can be alive and can smile. I know that this "black stripe" will end, but to live till this day I need a help. And this help I've found in the music of Scorpions.
What about my interests, I can't live without music, books and photocamera. I like to help people and to write stories and poems. For a pity I gave up playing the guitar, but I'd better listen to the music than create it. I like to know new people, 'cause I think that every person is a new interesting world, and it is always interesting to learn.
...Well, I think, that's all I can say yet. Guess that's enough =)

Hi there. I've seen your posts in some other topics and became quite interested in a new member. :D I don't come there too often, but I'm happy to welcome you.

You're so lucky to study at the Uni in another country. How did you get that opportunity? That's so interesting.
I'm a third year student of International Business. Unfortunately I've never had a chance to leave my country. Hopefully my future job will allow me to do this. Maybe even leave for good... Anyway there's not much fun living in Siberia so I doubt I'd miss it.
PS: your English is really great, but feel free to answer in Russian if it's easier for you. :)

susan, thank you very much! =)
DeepAndDark, haha, maybe my English it pretty good, but not perfect definetily =)
And yes I can talk in Russian, but I also need practise, so I hope it is not a problem for you to understand my English.
Did you really become interested? Can I ask why? -)
The opportunity was well enough. My University was at the beginning in my Motherland, but then our stupid governent threw it away. Only because the studies were on the European level. So the university now is in Lithuania, but it still teaching Belarusian students. So it is rather easy to enter here, but rather difficult to study.
The university is EHU (European Humanities University).
The chance will be only when you really want to have it. I say to my friends now to find and read book "The ecret" by Rhonda Byrne. You will understand this conception and you will turn your life into something really good and (attention!) the same as you want! And you will, I know, because I live that way, knowing the secret.

I believe you will be happy! =)

 Sure Dasha, no problems at all. I believe nobody's English is perfect. Even native speakers make mistakes.
Well, I just saw a pretty girl holding a guitar, read that you like drawing and you do it really well.

I've heard that studying at European Unis is rather hard as lecturers give a lot of info which is not always important. So I can count myself lucky that only now, on the third course, I need to spend much time studying. In fact, that's only because we've taken up the second foreign language. All the other disciplines are quite easy. :) Can you please tell me what exactly are you studying? For instance, I study economics and I'm already pretty obsessed by it. Ok, it's not that bad so far.

And about knowing any "secret": sound interesting... is it like visualizing your thoughts?
