Rare Scorpions guitar pick sold

Rare Scorpions guitar pick sold

I knew alot of Scorpions collectables would be up on the auction sites sence the announcement of the farewell tour. Here is one that I didn't think would go this high. This pick is part of a four pick set that was given to Klaus on his 60th birthday, and this one was the rearest of the four.

i think picks could sell better if they list the artist that used it and the song or songs played with the pick ..

I have one from Eric Bloom .. Blue Oyster Cult .. Godzilla
and Hughie Thomasson .. The Outlaws .. Green Grass and High Tides ..

all the Scorps ones i have just have rudi or matts name on them and are new
It ain't over til the fat lady diets

The price's way too expensive for a pick I don't think it's worth to pay these bucks

That is pretty expencive if I had the money I would probably buy one but it takes me weeks to save for concert tickets so I would stand no chance with that

 Jesus! No matter how rare a pick is, it cannot be sold for 600$!! This is ridiculous. I paid less than 300 euros in order to travel to another city, stay at a 5* hotel and attend a Scorpions concert (were I got picks for free)!

^^Not completely for free, if I understood it correctly.
There was a piece of clothing, not completely rightfully yours, that was exchanged for those picks wasn't it?

I thought this pick went for alot, when you consider you could have either bought two 5 star VIP packages to a show, a couple of gold or platinum awards, or as Luky said two or three "The Hunters 7" singles

This seller also sold the red pick in the set, and it went for a little over $130.00

As I said earlier, some of the Scorpions items are going for alot of money. There is an auction going on right now for a Monsters of rock 6-26-88 boot DVD starting bid of $499.00 , that's F'n crazy!!! I think this cat has the decimal point in the wrong spot.

People are just trying to capitalize on the fact that the Scorpions are doing their fairwell tour.

   500 bucks for a 88 MOR show? Oh God! I remember few years (6-7) ago there was a Beta video 8 tape what included a 25 minutes long concert from 1976. There was in France somewhere and the recording is black and white. The final prise had been about 200€.

I found out that this guitar pick was sold to a pick collector in the US. This person is no stranger to spending between $100.00 and $600.00 for a single guitar pick from any band or guitarist.
