Antonis , what I remember of 1976 , they were opening act for Kiss ,and that is the reason I went with my older coussin , I have to come 14 years , my mom at first would not let me go , I was to young she said , than she said its ok ( thanks mom+ and dad+ for give me the wunderful youth I have).
I remember the song "in trance" they play I think 45 minutes ,but I was inwaiting for Kiss ,so I remember just snaps. Later I ask my coussin more about the Scorpions , he got the vynil " virgin killer " and tol me the drummer was Belgium (Rudy Lenners).
But that was the start of my love for the Scorps. I learn more music of them and after "taken by force " in 1977 , special the song " well burn the sky " who was played alot in our youth clubhouse it keeps on rolling.
the show in 1976 I remember snaps of it.
yes you are right Wacken 2006 was much better than on the dvd , but I mist some parts ,I was there with some grazy group of metelfans on on bus trip and there were things happend not to publish here ,I was standing a bit to far , but A Night To Remember

Thanx for answering...this is very interesting...of course i can understand that you can't have strong memories from the Scorpions show...
In Trance had been a hit of the 'underground'radio here in Greece ...since the 70s...i know people who are members of our Greek Scorpions fan club(the older ones)who became fans from that era('75)
I strongly believe that the band have never realised how important have been certain songs(like In Trance,Coming Home,Speedy;s Coming,No one like you,Dynamite...),for their fans and made them love their music so much...

Lievin , than in June but its gonna be concert of Kiss (graspop) July see Rock Werchter with my son for green day , but I like to see that day " the Gaslight Anthem " and also in July kick off suikerrock with "Fogerty and zz top "

2009/06/04 Gdansk, met Polish fans, great show too
2010/06/23 Gilford, great show! met american fans!
2010/11/19 Hamburg, awesome show with many fans
2011/11/26 Brussels, really a night to remember with FOS

I know what you mean. Part of me has felt for the past 10 years that every time I went to a show, it could be the last time they come to the US, but they kept on coming back. I will be at the Chicago show this year - the last US show - and I'm going to be fighting back that feeling that it is the last show I'll ever see. I really hope that I can just completely rock out at the show like always, but I'm afraid that I'm going to get emotional when it's over. Maybe they will come back here, but we just don't know.....

It's exactly the same for me, Gabi. Their music has been "built into the blood" of my 9 year old son, too, so I'm really happy that this year I can help him realize his dream of seeing the Scorpions live. (If only I could find a way for him to meet them too!) If this wasn't announced as the final tour, I wouldn't have taken my kids to a concert at such young ages, so it worked out well for them. And I'm happy that my kids' first concert will always be remembered their whole lives as the Scorpions!
