I'm pretty sure he still uses Marshall's not exactly sure I'd have to check it out
Gibson would've made him a Signature Model; but he was prolly not as huge or well known to make a model in his name. There were alot of Big named Guitar Players; who were also fighting for fame; during his reign in UFO, and Scorpion days. And if Gibson woulda done that, they woulda had to make different Sig Guitars for all the big name guitarists, Page, Slash (which they did). ect, ect, Pat Travers, Moore, ect, ect.
Marshalls are the only way to go.........................................
I found this in a forum dedicated to Flying V's this is what someone had posted,Michael was asked in an interview a few years ago why he didn't have a Gibson Signature guitar and his reply was: "They've never asked me. I guess since I'm always playing them everywhere (Gibson V's), they didn't think it was necessary." probably true he played them so much anyways and the Half Black/ Half White V was his signature guitar anyways that he didn't really need the endorsement. They had signatures for Rudolf and Matthias who helped design the Explorer 90. Yeah Marshall's seem to be that way everyone uses them
well I know I do, I have a Marshall Stack...........and its very loud
what kind of guitar do you use? I want to switch to a Flying V but I'm gonna wait until I can play better
I have a 76 Gibson Explorer reissue Korina wood; 76 Gibson Les Paul Tobacco Sunburst Standard, And a Hamer 05 Cherrysunburst Explorer. Going thur a 50 watt Marshall Stack JCM 900
