Gabi, I'm really glad you like my review

So here’s the third - and I think, the last - part of it

Sunday, December the 6th 2009. If not Matt, who woke me up by calling in the mor... Wait. Almost noon can’t in any way be considered as a morning. Anyway, if not that call I bet I would sleep ‘till the late afternoon. Fortunately I woke up… and started to wonder, what the hell I did the day before, that I’m feeling THAT bad. Well, I know that the day before because of so strong emotions we all almost forgot to eat, but hey, that couldn’t be the reason of feeling the way I used to call ‘slightly dead’

Anyway, I was in a state like ‘I’m-not-going-anywhere-let-me-alone’, and the only thing I thought I will find power to do, would be going near the venue (it’s about 50 meters from my block of flats xD) and waiting. Later I met Martinka and Daniel and I was trying to convince them to my plan… but they had another plan and were way more convincing

So again we were trying our luck with meeting the band - and again, we succeeded!

That time we managed to meet them all, take photos and signatures. It was only for short time, because they were before the show, but it doesn’t matter. Again, all (even the guards

) were so kind to us, and it was an unforgettable experience for me, to meet people I look up to so much for the second time

There was so much happiness, that I can’t even find the proper words to describe it.

As soon as the band left, we left too, regretting we wouldn’t see the second show. As we got to Zabrze, Daniel decided to stay at the hotel, while Martinka and I went for a walk. When we were near the venue, she asked to come there for a moment to ‘feel the rock atmosphere’. It was about ten to six, just before the show. And then guess what? Two guys asked us if we do not want to buy the tickets for the show

So you can clearly guess the result - just right before the show started, we jumped in, incredibly happy. That time we had places much closer to the stage, on the Rudi’s side. And on Sunday there were no politicians, only people who knew how to rock! Geez, I think I won’t ever forget a lady next to us

she was… maybe in her 40s, but I think in her soul she’ll never be older than 20, it was so nice to see how she enjoys the show! She was jumping and singing, just like us

What a difference, comparing to the people that were next to us on Saturday’s show…
Comparing to the previous show - opening was ‘Hour 1’ instead of ‘Coming Home’, then I think were no changes in the setlist. Band was sooo energetic, and I had a feeling that they were slightly more easygoing on Sunday - Paweł’s solo seemed to be slightly longer, Rudy was spinning like crazy and his guitar was spinning around his neck (and yeah, I was only wondering when the guitar treated that way will ‘choose freedom’ and fly away at the audience

), Matthias, James and Klaus were also in great mood… and it was like during ‘World Wide Live’, they allowed fans to touch their instruments, even were giving autographs while being onstage

As for me, I was lucky enough to get the stick (at last! xD) - and I almost fell to the row in front of me to get it xD I caught it together with a man, and it was so kind of him that he appeased

(Later on, when he saw me, he said with laughing that this stick should be his

Anyway, if you read it - thank you!

) And when the band was leaving the stage, Paweł threw a towel to the audience - and we caught it together with Martinka

When the encore began, Martinka ran to the stage - and I was quite undecided for a while whether to stay and watch our belongings or to follow her. After a moment of hesitating I grabbed my camera (taking pictures was forbidden, but I did it just ‘in case’) and decided to join her - so I spent encore right under the stage. Like the day before, they played ‘Still Loving You’, ‘Wind Of Change’ and ‘Rock You Like A Hurricane’, then started to say goodbye, gave some last picks and sticks, and then decided to play one more song - and that was the moment when I managed to stand right by the stage. I thought that they would play ‘When The Smoke Is Going Down’ again, but… I was wrong. When I heard first notes of the song played, I thought that I must have misheard something or that I’m dreaming… Because there was one particular song I love so much and I was just dying to hear live, but somehow I didn’t believe I will - at least this time. And now? The band was playing that one, special song, ‘Always Somewhere’, and I… I was standing with my hands on the stage - and I must have been looking like a child watching display of the toy shop

- and I was so happy…! I think for Martinka one look at my face was enough to see it

It’s indescribable how I felt. If it was easier for me to burst into tears of joy, I’d surely do it, but I didn’t. I listened to the song, felt so happy I could die that moment; felt like I was dreaming my own dream. I know it may sound pathetic, but… but it was jus tike that for me

As the song ended - a few last picks, a few last handshakes, and the band left. We also got back to our belongings - and that’s when I burst into tears. No doubts, these two days were the most beautiful in my life!

and I want to say big
'thank you' to the band, for making me and my friends so happy

And there's another big 'thank you' for people who were there with me and made that wekend so unforgettable - you know who you are, don't you?
