part two:

After RYLAH the band was saying goodbye, Matthias stood not even half a meter from my face. I was so happy to be so close, I was jumping so high as I could.... and Matthias looked at me and stooped down to me.....gave his hands to me... I thought that he allowed me to touch him, but suddenly I felt he is jacking me up on the stage! Happiness I felt at that moment, I cannot describe.... I knew that I´m just living my greatest dream....

After the show we went to their hotel, where we waited for them for about four hours. As first came Pawel, who seemed tired, but nevertheless took a photo with us. Later came Matthias. At that moment I didn´t know myself, I began to stutter, quake. Matthias gladly and with big smile signed everything to all fans and then came also to me. He recognized me and hugged me again! On the pictures you can see the happiest smile I've ever had.
I would love to thank him for everything....somehow this experience has changed my life, because I feel stronger. He's really amazing, kind and caring man.

Klaus came later too, but probably he was not feeling good, because his bodyguards took him quickly from the car straight into the apartment.

For me was something very special because im have born there and was my 40 and 41.Scorpions Show im also have give my cousin go inside with me to the show!Thanks for Markus Pohl Michael Gherke and Alex Malek its possible!it was very special because i that my family and i want with my heart put also inside my cousin to the show!Everything was perfect of corse more never forget i have sit down on the Drums from James he have shot me with my camera a fotosession !everythins was unbelieveble where i have born!Now iam agian back in Germany in Mannheim!Thanks also every here to put the links about this show because i want it too!David from Mannheim Germany

part three:

The next day we went to the hotel around lunchtime, we had no luck to meet James. After about three hours of waitin we met them all. Of course, they rushed for another gig, so we could not restrain them.
About half an hour before the concert we returned to Zabrze. Me and Dory went for a walk. I wanted to go near the venue and breath the rock atmosphere. But there were two men who offered us tickets for sale. I could not endure it and immediately bought them! So we were surprised:) and crazy and happily jumped on the second concert!

The second show was great as well!! Pawel had amazing solo and he and James gave a lot of attention to Polish Scorpions Fanclub (Im not sure how it is called, Im sorry ). It was so fantastic time!!! For me show was too short, but...I had always the same feeling
on this show me and Dory got a wet towel from Pawel

I was terribly tired after this rock weekend, but never never before I felt so wonderfull. I cant thank enough to SCORPIONS guys, Dory and a lot of other people who were with me at the time....

Well, so as I see there isn’t much more to add from me, ‘cause Martinka told almost everything about shows But I promised longer review… So here’s the first part.

Somehow I knew I would enjoy that show - not only because it was Scorpions. This time I knew I’ll be going with a group of friends - and enjoying the show with somebody one already knows is always something better for me But before the show we wanted to get some autographs - and we managed! It was worth waiting so long in this cold to get signatures and have photos with Rudy and Klaus

But the time was up, we couldn’t stand under the venue for ages, so right before 6:00 we got inside. Found our seats easily - and I breathed with deep relief. We have some problems while buying the tickets, and as a result we get totally different seats than the ones we wanted to (10th row instead of 6th), but in the end it turned out not to be a problem, ‘cause the hall was much smaller than I remembered it, and the view from our side was also great. Before the show there was a few (quite boring xD) speeches of some politicians and other important people because of the celebration of 50th ‘birthday’ of the venue, but the audience started to get more and more nervous as the speeches got longer and more pointless…

At last! Politicians went off the stage for good, lights went out, and there was started counting down from 10 to 1. But... nothing happened. And then again the same. So somebody from the audience yelled ‘Ninety-nine!’ and started to count down from this I don’t know if he managed to count to one before we heard first sounds of opening and ‘Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, won’t you please welcome… THE SCORPIONS!’ - and the fun began! We immediately stood up from our chairs - but, unfortunately, at the beginning of the show majority of audience were sitting - and they also didn’t let other people stand for too long. As one elderly guy forced me to sit with saying something like ‘God gave you ass, so sit!’ I started to feel quite angry. But once, as ‘The Zoo’ began, all the audience stood up - and it was great!

We were singin’ and jumpin’, rippin’ our throats off - and that was fun! I really enjoyed the setlist, especially ‘Is There Anybody There?’ and ‘Tease Me, Please Me’. Klaus’s voice was great, Rudy, Matthias and Pawel were running like crazy all over the stage and making faces, band had wonderful contact with the audience and I really felt that ‘Zabrze rocks!’ And James during his solo started to take the pictures of those part of audience, who were shouting the loudest… And then two more songs and… band went off the stage.

You are very lucky to be pulled up on the stage by Matthias.
It doesn't happen often or at least I've never seen him doing that.
Well, if I were a man, I might do that the same thing though.
Look at the security guy in front of the hotel, he is not watching Matthias at all. He is watching you and smiling.
I think your pure innocent attitude gave the band members so cheerful feeling.

I hope you won´t mind If I´ll answer, because thats all my fault. Gabi thinks that, because I wrote that after midnight, when all members came back to hotel, Klaus had too many bodyguards arround him and they didnt allow anybody even see him and took him very quickly straight to the room...
But thats true, that you know it better, because I saw only this one moment and you were with him much much more

Yes ... i must agree with you Renata I think that band(and fans) had really crazy rock weekend in Zabrze.

You know I always have the same problem because there are always so much emotions and you have to write a long review... But it's totally understandable

Oookay, so here’s the second part of my story Or rather should I say 'our story, but from my point of view'

Although the band went off the stage, I was pretty sure there’ll be an encore - show without ‘Wind Of Change’ or ‘Rock You Like A Hurricane’? Can’t be! And I was right - they came back, took some flags from audience (and that was the time I started to regret a bit not making one this time) and played ‘Still Loving You’, ‘Wind Of Change’ and ‘Rock You Like A Hurricane’. And now I have to admit, that… well, it may sound strange, but somehow I don’t remember this part of the show too clearly, all the time I had a feeling that it’s unreal, it’s a kind of dream and I’ll wake up in a moment Anyway, during RYLAH I decided to run with Martinka and Matt (another friend of mine whom I was there with) to the stage - they were doing it earlier as well, so they already managed to catch the sticks So I followed Martinka, trying not to fall from the stairs, got under the stage - and try to pick one of picks Paweł has thrown in the crowd, but I hadn’t found any. Luckily Martinka found two and so kindly gave one of them to me We stood by the stage, so close that we could put our hands on, and as the band was saying goodbye we stood less than half a meter from them. And as Martinka already wrote - Matthias surprisingly pulled her up on stage It seemed like security guy didn’t like it too much, but oh well… he didn’t have too much to say that time I suppose, even if he’d try to drag her down, there were a few of us there who wouldn’t let him do so After Martinka left the stage, band played ‘When The Smoke Is Going Down’ (yeah… verse ‘I climb the stage again this night’ has now a new meaning to us… ), they gave a few more picks to the audience, and gone for good

And we? We wanted to try our luck and meet the band after the show. And luck must have been on our side that night, ‘cause again we managed to do so! And except of the band, we also met a few fans - e.g. Pablo (who didn’t recognize me at first xD) and Goldee from Polish message board (who did recognize my nickname - and I was nicely surprised, ‘cause usually it’s like I know or recognize almost everybody, but hardly anyone recognizes me xD And Martinka - Goldee was the man with ‘Scorpions’ on his forehead, but I’m not sure if he’s registered also here ), or Renata and Pavel (greetings! ). And as for the band - first we met Paweł, then… Geez, I can’t remember, who we met earlier, Rudy or Matthias, but I think Matthias. And geez - all the guys were so kind and patient to us, but that time he seemed to be… hm, I don’t know if ‘the warmest’ would be a proper word here, but I hope you all catch what I mean As Martinka wrote before - he recognized her, signed all photos, allowed us to take a plenty of photos with him, and… well, nobody would say, that it was nearly midnight and that man is after very energetic (and for sure tiring) show. Even the security guy, who at first was quite unpleasant, later unbend a bit (what you could see in the picture ). Somehow we missed James, and when Klaus came, it could be easily seen that he was very tired.

We were tired as well - but so, so happy!! I’ve never expected that evening would look like that, that I’ll have the chance to meet the guys, have pictures with them… It’s something amazing and still unbelievable for me

We got home and I just fell into my bed, wondering if I’ll be able to get up earlier than after another 12 hours - and the adventure was still waiting, so sleeping for that long would be a simple waste of time…
