And it´s be best part....When Roberta came to visit me last month, we had so much fun taking pics everywhere!
And I´m discovering new things about me, like how much I like sunsets and sunrises, and I love lights and abstract pictures.... Even though I don´t have a super camera, I´m just having fun!
♫♪ And how can I live without you? You’re such a part of me and you’ve always been the one keeping me forever young. And the best is yet to come!♫♪

It's easy to make a beautiful landscape to seem a... beautiful landscape image in a photography. The chalenge is to make a simple landscape to sound like a wonderful one. What Pati have made was to take pics just through her window and I was there, I've seen that, and the landscape is not the most beautiful in this world, but through her photos, it seems a wonderful land! So Cristy, what you need is.. to believe in yourself ;)

And for sure Pati... what a magic moment we lived there! Wainting for new ones when you'll come to my land!

These are some new pics, the last ones I have taken with the camera I have requested for the cityhall, I took it for work, some of them are going to the newspaper tomorrow :) It's an article about the squares of the region and I also took pics of some flowes at one of the squares

Ro, I was told by my instructor on this Gallery website I am on now, that I should have a camera that shoots RAW to stay away from JPEG photos which limit me on what sizes I can reprint for customers. I just found out that my point and shoot with 6 mp has dwindled me down to a maximum of 11x14 inch sizes for my photos. I am devastated to say the least as I had a couple of orders for 16x20s and that would have pixelated them so badly that no way could I have sold them that way. sighhhh....what next in my screwed up life?
My question is, I can't afford a $1200 camera, would a 10 mp Canon DSLR be just as good and would allow me to go as much as 20x30? Thx
Luv ya and kisses my friend

WOW!! I went to post this and it shot it back to me cuz you posted too.

Yep those flower ones are oh so wonderful!!! I cannot wait until my father can take me up to the mountains for our Spring blooms. It's becoming oh so boring here and I have no way to get anywhere else and when you have customers, they want more then just the same old surroundings that I have taken.

BTW maybe I need to buy this car when I can afford it when it rolls off the assembly line so I can drive myself finally!! :P

Not to mention, it's coming right out of my town!! :P

I sent this link to Matthias telling him that this is a Matthias car. Well now I have decided that I send him too many links. My bad.

10mp is good enough for this, you can even make bigger prints, and you also can take pics in RAW with a Rebel XS ;)
RAW is too much heavy, I never use this since I don't need a so hard quality, I mean, raw make the file so heavy that it only worth it if you really know to realize the difference between a high quality photo in JPG and a RAW photography, and better use it only you need to do a work which needs tooooo much perfection, extremally hehehe and... to be honest, pics made 20x30 prints don't neet to be in RAW.
No one of my pics are taken in RAW, I didn't need it, yet. I tried, but it's... too heavy, it made my 2gb memory card get full quickly :P
Trust me, this Rebel XS is good enough to start with. But, anyway, there another camera from the same line, tha follows XS, it's the Rebel XSi, which has 12mp, some extra focus points, and can take more pics by second. But it's a bit more expensive, and I didn't want to buy it since I could buy another lens with the price I would pay more.
And since you like landscapes, it would be great if you could get a lens that reaches at least 15mm for example.

This is great news Ro!! I am excited now to get that XS. The XSi is on monthly payments too btw, but it's $200 a month and the other one is $150 a month. That extra $50 a month is a lot to me. Okay so I will just use the JPG until I become a famous photog. aaaaaahahahahaha BTW the camera comes with an 18-55mm. So what's the next best thing AND what should I use for just being the 2nd photog at my sister's wedding? Thx sweetie.

For a wedding, there are many lenses you can use to take pics, but it's possible to do a great job with a 18-55mm, other lenses will just give you more possibilities. But you'll also need an external flash to do a professional work.

These are some new pics I have taken for the city hall, that was a concert of a singer in an event :)

and the article at the subcityhall website:

Oh Sherry, Kim is coming to visit this weekend and is taking me up to the high country!! I haven't been in so long, where do you suggest? I am so stoked to get some Autumn pix, altho it's a bit early. I am sure that I will get some changing, maybe. Also we will be wearing MJ's tee shirts, the same one he likes so much and will be taking photos of each other up there.
Anyway, thx for bringing this up again, I can't wait to post my new ones. Soooo....now where should we go? :P

Yeah I know she is heading this way this weekend :D I have the perfect place for you two to go. Head up the Big Thompson to Estes Park ... then take the cross over from Estes Park to Boulder. If memory serves me correctly it is Hwy 30 which then you get off of and take Hwy 7 (There are plenty of signs to show you the way). :) Just follow the signs that say "to Boulder". It is a BEAUTIFUL drive. :P Oh so many photographic opportunities along that path. It will take about an hour ... it's a couple weeks early for too much color change but it is beautiful either way. :) If you want to see some photos from along that route you can see them on my myspace. Also the arts fair is in Estes Park this Sat, Sun and Mon. I'm heading up to it for sure, one of the best in the state. Have fun and take lots of pics! :D

Hello everyone :)
I guess I thought Id share some of my work with some other photographers :)
Ive been a semi-professional photographer for almost 2 years now. Its only a hobby really but I do love it.

I enjoy nature photography most:

http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp32 ... 280new.jpg

http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp32 ... 383zzz.jpg

http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp32 ... 104new.jpg

http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp32 ... 782new.jpg

http://i424.photobucket.com/albums/pp32 ... itcopy.jpg

But I am mostly seen as a live gig photographer. Around a year ago I started my 'company'; Wildchild Media (Yes naturally named after a Scorpions song :P) and have been published in small magazines in England and used on posters and websites. I also do photoshoots with bands :)

Here are a few of my gig photos from this year:

What camera do you use and lenses for the nature and then the photoshoots and then of course, your gigs. I too am trying to run my own photography business, but with the economy and then living in a small town hinders me from really increasing my revenue. :? But I don't want to stop at just nature, which is practically all I do, I want to do gigs as well.
Anyway, you're good and I wish you much good fortune.
