STOP IT!! They have ALL said that next year will be their big Coast to Coast tour of North America!! So quit going on about this! It makes me want to cry cuz I believe in them this time for next year!!!! Please?
I believe tho that we had all better take full advantage of this, cuz this may be the last time. And the promo better be the best it's ever been or the tour will suck!!

THE SCORPIONS DID NOT SAY THAT AFTER NEXT YEAR THEY ARE QUITING!!!!!!!! The words below are the opinion of a fan ... just like if any of us wrote our opinion or thoughts!!!!!! ***.... this is the same *** fans wrote after the eye II eye tour 10 years ago!

Yeah I know, I was tired and feeling fearful. But everyone should be smart enough to know that it's my opinion and not fact. Anyway I should hope so. I think the catch words are "I believe..." It was not meant to do any harm. Also, it was meant that it would be the last BIG America tour, not stop all together.
BTW, I wonder why they don't just ask ME and I would tell them OF COURSE IT'S NOT FACT, IT'S ONLY MY FEARFUL OPINION!!!! Are they afraid to PM me? I can't bite thru the computer.

I think you often forget Cristy that fans from all over the globe read this forum and they can't read your or any one elses mind. So what you "meant" and what you "wrote" can be confusing to people who do not speak fluent english or know you. It has nothing to do with how smart someone is. There are thousands of fans who never post or even register here but still come to read the forum and email us with questions of what others have written. Don't take this personal, just try to remember that the world is bigger then we all often think it is and people from places we've never heard of visit this forum.

Gee email Cristy if you want to know instead of trying to help them. Thanks for understanding that we have a job to do Cristy. We're just trying to make sure that everyone understands and there is no confusion and everyone enjoys their time here even if there are some folks who are not comfortable with posting yet.

If you're REALLY antsy, do what I did-go to where the Scorps are! I went from Atlanta to the show in Hotensleben Germany, last month, it was fantastic! To see them in their mother country was quite special, let me tell you!

This is exactly what myself, Monica,Ted,Drew,Thomas and Rudiray have been saying for years..without the support of North America from 1979-1991. The Scorpions would not be here today...we were the fans that put the Scorpions on the map all around the world. Before they toured America in 1979 they were just a European band that was going no where except Japan. From 1979-1991 the Scorpions were averaging 50 to 100 shows a year in our country. We were buying their albums helping them sell out arenas and stadiums. They were on MTV all day long. They were on radio stations doing interviews. There wasn't a place you could go without hearing the Scorpions. They were the biggest band on the planet during that period. They were outselling AC/DC,Kiss,Motley Crue,Aerosmith,Van Halen,Rush, Judas Priest,Iron Maiden just to name a few. In 1988 they blew Van Halen off the stage everynight during the Monsters of rock. No band could touch them live!!!!

SCORPIONS.. i know it's 2009 but all of those bands i listed above are touring our country and selling out arenas..so it can happen again just give us a chance..that is all we are asking...

Gabi...look at it this way without the success in North America from 1979-1984..the Scorpions would of never been invited to play Rock in Rio 1985, Budapest 1986, Russia in 1988 or Greece in 1990. Name one band from each of those countries that have gone on to huge success around the world??? NONE..so you needed to be successful in North America to play other countries. Plus remember what Klaus and the rest of band said was their biggest thrill in their career..that was playing MADISON SQUARE GARDEN IN NEW YORK CITY back in June 1984. They flew their families in to see the shows. And plus it's not being modest it's being correct from a fan that has followed this band for 25 plus years non-stop.

I can speak only for germany, of course. But concerning germany, Scott is absolutely right. Remember the interview Klaus gave on Deutsche Welle. There he said:

With the huge success in the U.S. even the germans noticed the band and they had the chance to play big concerts even in germany

I remember when I saw them for the first time on german TV. Now I found out it was in 1984 at the german TV Show 'Formel Eins'. And there the announcer said 'Hey look, there's a german band, succesful in the U.S. and we nearly don't know them'.

Just to be complete: I saw them already before on TV in the 70s in the german show 'PopRock', but before I came to this forum here I didn't know that this band has been the Scorpions. That means - if you read between the lines - I love their music beginning with the Matthias Jabs era
