what type of work does he do? What is he trained for? The bank I work for has been hiring for months. There is a large insurance company that is hiring like crazy. It all depends on what he does

I am so sorry for joining a typical american topic with my post, but if I understood your post correctly about insurance companies Sherry, I must maximally agree with you lol.
I had been working as a secretary in an insurance company through two and a half years, but it was quite enough for me.
Tobe honest when I was given a sack, I wasn't sad at all, also, I was somehow delighted to get rid of that workplace.
I hated the atmosphere there, and hated attitude of big parts of my workmates.
I never had met as so many big-headed but brainless people before as I did there, but I bet, I never even will have.

That's the reason, cuz it's too MUCH an art city. The competition is too fierce!! :?

MY NEW TRUCK

I bought a new GMC Sierra and returned to the dealer yesterday because I couldn't get the radio to work.

The salesman explained that the radio was voice activated.

'Nelson,' the salesman said to the radio.

The radio replied, 'Ricky or Willie?'

'Willie!' he continued and 'On The Road Again' came from the speakers.

Then he said, 'Ray Charles!', and in an instant '
Georgia On My Mind' replaced Willie Nelson.

I drove away happy, and for the next few days, every time I'd say, 'Beethoven, ' I'd get beautiful classical music, and if I said, 'Lettermen,' I'd get one of their awesome songs of the past.

Yesterday, some guy ran a red light and nearly creamed my new truck, but I swerved in time to avoid him.

I yelled out, Idiot!'

Immediately the radio responded with, "Ladies and gentlemen, the president of the United States.

Man, I love this truck!!

Actually the company I was referring to is USAA. They are headquartered here. Also there are tons of federal jobs - BAMC and Fort Sam Houston are opening up 2 major logistics centers here. They are bringing close to 10,000 jobs over the next 4-6 years. The Border Patrol is hiring over 1000 new agents. The medical center is expanding. etc.etc.etc.
