Hi Toshiko,

if it's german TV, then it must be 'Brisant'

http://www.mdr.de/brisant/promi-klatsch/6513674.html

It was already broadcasted. I missed it, because I didn't know it would come. Even Sarah or Scorah, who is very busy in the german fanclub didn't know about it.

sorry

Thank you, Hans for your help.
I called the phonenumber on the site and talked with NDR person.
She couldn't find any information about the Scorpions concert in Athens, so I sent her this link you posted so hopefully she will find something about it.

I wish I asked the cameraman where he was from. Sigh......... :(

Thank you again, Hans.

The e-mail I sent to NDR was returned. :(
I sent it again through the site's contacting form.
I hope the person who spoke with me could read it.

If it's already broadcasted.i wonder why we had no information by the webmaster!!!!??????
This channel followed the band at backstage at Sounio,i think that even at Acropolis...we get information(by e mail) about appereance without anything special to watch and not about this program????

Hi Antonis,

this ain't necessarily a mistake of the webmaster. This wasn't an 1h report about Scorps in Greece / Russia that was announced weeks before just a part in a kind of show we call here in Germany 'boulevard-magazine'. They usually put the show together only one or two days before it's broadcasted. So if you want to inform the people you must be quick, that's why I suggested to give the TV people the order to inform the local fanclubs.
That the person who Toshiko was talking with didn't know anything about it doesn't surprise me.
I had once a phone call with the NDR and can tell you it's like a labyrinth or better 'the place that sends you mad' from 'the twelve tasks of Asterix'

   It says: MINISTRY OF CULTURE. Work: Maintenance and erection of the monuments of Acropolis. Budget: 31.345.194 euros.

That´s the place where we made our banner for July 6th.

Oh man, I remember the weather being so cloudy the day before the concert and we were beyond worried  Even the morning of the big day it rained in Athens, but we were so damned fortunate that at the Karaiskaki-stadium area it didn't rain at all!!!
Some days ago two of 3 days of the rockwave festival were canceled because of the heavy rain and the bands which took part in the festival were Killers, Mötley Crüe, Placebo, Duffy, WASP, and others.

I pass by there every day.

..by that one too. And every time I remember the 1993 concert, opening of the FTH tour, which took place there...

I know what that place is! LOL

I am very glad you liked your holidays in Greece. Nice photos!! I love the one with Michael.

This guy took us everywhere.
He is a taxi driver and explained the histories of the places all day.
Just in case, the guy on the right is the taxi driver.

Christy, I'm glad you enjoyed the photos.
The woman at the seafood restaurant said she goes to Greece every summer! How rich!

Katerina, thank you for the explanation of the sign.
Mad Dog and I are so glad we could visit Greece.
I wish we had more time to see more places, but I guess it takes a long time to see many places there.
I can't believe it has passed one month already.
But it's good because I want next year to come really quickly.

Actually it was only 120 EURO and he bought us drinks three or four times.
I don't know how much other taxi drivers or tour guides charge usually, but I thought it was quit reasonable price.
Plus the taxi was Benz!
If he spoke a little shorter, we could've made one more place.
The funny thing was the waiter at the seafood restaurant recomended Mad Dog a white wine and he said ok because he thought what the waiter was talking about was just a glass of wine.
Buuuuuut it was a bottle of wine and he doesn't drink alcohol at all at home.
He thought the wine must be so expensive so he drank a whole bottle.
I have no idea how he could drink a whole bottle.

I was so surprised that he didn't become sick with so much alcohol after that.
That was why I didn't notice he drank the whole bottle of the wine.
I guess he ate enough food so it helped not to get sick with it.
I loved the seafood, too even though the sea bass's head was looking toward us.

Visiting the Socrates' balcony was one of our tour's highlight.
At the balcony, Socrates taught students and the balcony was still there!
I love philosothy.
I was so honored to stand the same balcony where Socrates stood. 8)
Am I smarter now?

This is the moon picture I took last night in my town.
Isn't that wonderful we are looking at the same moon and the same sun?

Thank you Toshiko for these photos of such a wonderful place. I have always kind of wanted to go to Greece, but since meeting my Greek friends, I have become very passionate about it. And seeing these pictures makes me love the country more!!!!!
When I was taking architectural design back in the 80's, art history was one of the subjects. It was extremely interesting to know that ancient Greece was one of the main countries that had so much influence on our art today. I so wish I could get out of America for awhile like you can and see other places besides here. But thank you for bringing us some of what you see along your journey dear Toshiko.
BTW I am glad to hear that Rolf is okay!! Lenita would have helped with that bottle. Like Matthias, she looooves wine!! How do you like that Len?
