Hello everybody!

I'm back from my "scorps' week".
What about Carcassonne, it was hot, very hot, very very hot.....! waiting all the day under a full sun it strong.

So I arrive the Monday afternoon, I tried to see the entrance of the theatre in the jungle of tourrist .In the end of the afternoon I drove to the train station to pick up my friends, Ludo had 4hour late with his train, he was in good mood when he arrived .
We decide to go eat somewhere in the "Cité", on the way, suddendly someone running and screaming under me. It was Christine, with Emelie and Andrea.
We when to the restaurant all together, it was a nice evening. We met us friends of Karelia as well (the support band).

Ludo arrived at the theater' s gate around 8h30, me one hour later. There was only one other person, so go to the Cité, take some pix with the morning sun. I see Achim taking pix as well
Later I was with Ludo, Achim taked a pic of us in front of the gate , I asked him for a pic with him.

We were lucky to learn by some tourrist that the band were in the hotel just on the other side of the church, so 75m far. Many thanks to this tourrist !!!!!
When we arrived with Ludo, 20 second after Christine, she told us that they saw Rudolf, James and Athena.
We stayed here around 2 hours and saw only James and Athena and their son who go to play the tourrist, we don't disturbed them. Later in the afternoon, we tried to found some fresh and shaded area, we saw Klaus in front of the hotel but don't distrub him, he seemsed very very tired.

After many hours under the sun, we finally arrived into the theater, wow beatiful area !!
sit everywhere we take the 1st row in front of Matt, like everytime . Difficult to be colser, closer will be on the stage. but sit ouch, how to do ? we can't stay sit for scorps (and Karelia too) Did the people don't shout if we stand up ?

Karelia started, they don't like play in front of a sitting crow , they asked to the crow to stand up , we are only around 20 stand up during Karelia .

The show was great, like perfect professional, but only James and Matthias were in great form. Rudolf didn't move a lot (but more than in Juan les pins), same for Pawel and Klaus was white. They looked like tired.

I took my banner on Holiday, the 1st part of the song wasn't finish that Klaus came take it and put it on his shoulders and keep it until the middle of 321

Later Klaus took the french flag of Ludo. I had 1 drum stick (like almost all the 1st row) and 3 pelcs during this show, it's the 1st times it happened to me. I'm particularly happy about the pelc Matthias gave me in the hand, because it's not the classic white/black but the red/gold and it's the 1st time I have one of Rudolf
I had a lot of smiles and funny moments with Matthias

It was a great night, my 2nd best show after Manchester in 2007 for the "communication" with the band.

After the show we went to their hotel, again, saw Pawel and wish him a good night, we learnt that Amend was in bad mood, so we left for us hotel.

So we haven't pix or signed stuff from Carcassonne, but I'm not desapointed because one of friend was very seek at the last moment and can't come to the show. He is the only one of my friends who never met the band.
I will be very angry for him if I had saw them without him. I hope he will be more lucky for Colmar

I'll try to post some pix this week-end, but before it's the pix from Chania and Singen, so wait a bit please

But I have one question concerning your video: Are you married with a robot or an advertising column? How can your wife stand so still at a Scorpions concert?

Well, she is getting a bit old and doesn't move so much like she used to!!!

I just wanted to mention the poor guy who was on his own selling t-shirts before and after the concert. There were people queuing on 2 sides of the booth and it was a bit 'n'importe quoi' as they say in France. Was there a problem with the organisation?

Anyway, I think he deserves a mention for keeping his cool and being friendly with the people waiting - even if I did notice a slight tendency for attractive young ladies to be served more quickly!!!

We knew that it could arrived, and we are not really desapointed, because when we saw Klaus in the afternoon, we were worry to "how he will sing tonight?", we prefere that they rest them, espacially with this heat, than disturbed them.
And Like David, was not here it was better for us. Us friend David is a very unlucky guy, since his 1st show in 1996 he has never met them, that why I didn't want talk to him about the possibility of the M&G. And when he send me a sms monday afternoon like he felt faint and can't come for the show, I was very worry for him but I know that I did the good choice to tell him nothing.

I hope he could find a ticket for Colmar and finally meet them.

Thanks to everyone for the nice pictures and video. When I look at them, it brings me back over there and it gives me a weird feeling

This morning, I took the train in Strasbourg (Christine caught me over there). We told us goodbye and now I'm in my bedroom in Switzerland, front of my computer.
I had a crazy week, sincerely... I would like to thank everybody who were with me at the concert and during the other days.

Christine and Julien, lovely house! I loved to live by you for a week. It was so great and I'll never forget it. You were two fabulous friends during this week! THANK YOU SO MUCH
Alizée and Andrea, you were the two other of the bad girls running wild... I'll never forget it also, it was so uncredible! When I look at the pictures of us 4, I can't stop to dream back about Carcassonne.

When I opened the door of my house in Switzerland, I began to cry I took my bag, opened it and I found Pawel's plec, the drumstick, Klaus' signature... Also the newspaper where we can see our first row... It was a very sensitive moment, maybe too much I couldn't stop my tears during 5 minutes... It's hard for me to realize everything that was at this concert. I don't know really how to react and I need some time But I'm so happy about it, it was once again a dream that becomes reality I hope to see other concerts, I can't stop right now! I need the Scorpions
