Katerina told me that Greek ppl are kind of not nice when it comes to a rock concert so I am so sorry you had to experience that and get all those bruises. Kate also has bruises from Athens. I haven't heard from her yet about Crete, other than right after the show I called again and she screamed that MJ gave her thumbs up about a sign she made about me!! Ilias got a picture of that btw!! But I am sure she has many bruises also!! How sad is that? The Greek Sting Fan Club has some awesome pix btw.
I remember getting crushed in Reno 2007 and that was even with my wheelchair in the way. Also, in Costa Mesa last year, some dim-witted idiot bowled me over trying to get one of Klaus' drumsticks!! AND I WAS AT MY SEAT!! He made me drop my camera and it broke! And that was only about 3 songs into the set!!! So I missed out on all those pix!! But, I hear that Greece is far worse!!
Anyway, I love your review and can't wait to hear more!! Pictures pictures pictures!!!

There is no one like Greece!!!! I think the boys find Greece one of their fave spots, along with Brazil!!!

My next shows are Singen next Saturday and after the 3 french shows.
For Céline it's Carcasonne and normally Colmar but I don't know if she has a ticket for it and it's sold out.

I can't stand beeing in the first row in Greece,there is too much energy and passion so i'm moving back,but in Germany or England etc,i have seen the band without problems...so if you want to live the experience of a hot audience,you must be ready for it!
I prefer it,if you ask me,even if i have to be in the back,you live the concert,but it's acceptable if you like to be in a sleepy and gentle audience,like you watch an opera..it's a matter of taste.
I've seen the Scorpions in first days of May 2004 in Munich and in the end of May in Athens&Thessaloniki and it was like beeing in completly different shows even if they played the same set list...in Munich i was so bored,in Athens it was A REAL ROCK CONCERT!!!

The audience, they enjoyed all the show but .... it's the 1st and last time I do a show in Greece.
The people are completly crazy and unfairplay !!!!!
They push, hit, crush everytime just to win 2cm. It's really crazy !!! I don't like this mind! In the middle of the barrier there was a "gate" with the cable under. When Klaus started to launch drumstick, this gate opened it due to the pressure. The security guys tried to repare it but it break 2 or 3 other times during the show. I was just by side of this gate, it was very strong to keep my position.
Close of Katerina some people started to fight cause of the pushing, and the secutity didn't care
At the end I was so angry that I shout.
Now, my body is very painfull, I know where was the barrier on my body, my shoudlers are painfull due to the bad postion, and my arms .... I got many bruises !

It was my 26th show of Scorps and the worst experience with the audience.
People have to learn respect and fairplay, if they want to be on the 1st row the must arrived early in stead of push, crush and hit the others.

If you want to watch opera you go and watch it ... this is Rock n' ***' Roll!!!

Antonis, it's the feeling that the boys pick up on and react to. If the audience is not reacting, it transfers over to our guys and the same thing with the other way. If the audience is reacting wildly, Scorps will feel it and react to it!! I am glad Greece is wild and crazy and so therefore our Scorps come alive and are crazy too!!!

Oh sweeties, you know I love and adore you guys, but Delphine was just expressing how bad it was cuz of all the crushing and rudeness. Ya know, even the Greeks feel that. I can't imagine how horrible it was for Eva, I am glad the security guy put her over the barrier for her safety, and of course Jen who was literally carried out cuz of being crushed. It's not cuz Delphine is a bad fan, just that she was miserable with the way the fans acted. Don't you feel that way as well? I know and because i've seem in a lot different places.The audience is not the same,BUT plys an important role for the concert...that's what i try to explain,but it is understood that some people like to be in a concert that nothing happens and some like to be in a wild concert....it's up to everybody to decide where should be.
I prefer the wild one,even if i can't be in the first row,anymore....

You know Antonis, I love wild too, but with being in my wheelchair, I think at this point of my life I would be terrified to be in that audience!! Course I would hatehatehate the calm one even more than anything!!! So if I had a choice, wellll of course it would be the wild and crazy one. I would just hope that the fans would be aware of me being in a wheelchair and be careful of me.
I am really hoping that when they hit next year that there will be fans who are wild and crazy. We USED to be and now the audiences are so unaware of Scorps anymore, I don't know how we are going to act next year.

I am lucky enough to know her personally because she was at the show in Budapest.
She is an extremely nice, sweethearted and cool girl, she doesn't deserve your bad treatments just because she is from a different culture from yours.
Of course she is a longtime crazy fan, and she is not that type of girl who wants to hear just Holiday and Wind of change, she didn't say it at all.
She knows history of the band much better than it is.
Try tobe more tolerant to other nations here, please.
