But that's ok, after all you can't really hear well in the first rows. My father who was among the seated ones, told me that he couldn't really hear the guitars, apart from Matthias, while Klaus' voice was really stunning, like crystal. It depends on where one is.
I don't agree with you, _Matthias_, when it comes to the age of the crowd. At least in the front rows, 90% of the people were either teenagers or young adults.
Sound depends ,because we were in different positions, but i compare with concerts from the past .Every concert in Karaiskaki (from 2005 ) i watched it from the same spot (in the arena) . Michael's sound was so clean and loud you could hear every single note he played. Also all the instruments sounded excellent. The group in general sounded great and performed in a high level, including Klaus.I didn't say that Klaus permormance in vocals was bad,but the sound from the speakers came out a bit of distorted.Klaus sounded excellent in the 1st Scorpio festival (2007) even better from a scorpions cd.
I walked in the arena a couple of times before the concert and i had a complete look.I checked ppl in seats as well. Comparing with concerts of the past (like lycabettus and 2005,2007) there wasn't a core of "enthousiast rock teenagers". Also you can't compare this audience with the audience of 2005.
Anyway ,this concert had everything else i wanted as a fan : all the members of the group,a great show, a great setlist and 40.000 ppl.
In conclusion ,Scorpions should move on to the next step : Olympic Stadium...Karaiskaki Stadium is too small for them .
