Yes, a big dream of mine is still tobe at a Scorps show in Athens.
Perhaps one day, or perhaps not lol.

Adrian told me that girls were dancing on the stage during Tease me Please me (as we can see in the pictures) and about Athena. I'd love to see Athena on the stage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The setlist is amazing. I want to hear Doctor Doctor live someday!!

Wow,yesterday it was my first Scorpions' concert!! Although,i can't say that i enjoyed it so much for particular reasons.Because of train delays,me and my friends arrived at the venue quite late,so we missed the chance to be in one of the first rows in arena.Not need to mention that during the concert,i couldn't see ANYTHING(only James)....... At least,i could hear them hahahahaa

About Scorpions..what can i say..they were I-N-C-R-E-D-I-B-L-E!!! Thank you!!!! Uli,Michael,Herman were amazing too. I loved setlist!!! Robot man,Backstage queen,Doctor Doctor,Long tall sally...It was a very nice surprise to hear these songs live!! and of course,No one Like You...Yeah..No One Like Scorpions! I liked also the duet of Scorpions-Vassilis Papakonstantinou on ''Holiday''..

Forgive my bizarre joke Agapi, but as for not seeing anything on the stage just hearing the music, try to imagine that you were Me yesterday, so everything will be all right.
I extremely enjoyed all my 5 Scorpions shows just by hearing too.

Well, you see my signature!! "Rockers are ageless". Whose to say that getting older means to stop acting like a kid?? And of course, when it comes to Scorps, I AM a teenager!! Listening to them yesterday was amazing, it literally left me in "a trance"!!! I kept hearing Klaus' voice in my head and heart! I will forever be indepted to Kate and Jen for that.
When Kate told me yesterday that Jen had been carried out, I was devastated!! It was her first show and first time seeing MJ. But I guess she came back and was way over to the side. But I think she still got to see the rest of the show..????
I can't wait til the rest of the review is posted. Thx Haley for a little bit. Come on now with the rest!!

Yes..I liked the concert but to be honest,yesterday's night wasn't what i expected..(I'm not talking about Scorpions' performance..they were BRILLIANT and gave their best )..I wish that next time they will return here,i will enjoy the show much more and be able to see the guys on stage, not just from the screen of the stadium.

Thank you Sherry, I hope I wasn't rude. It's just that it gets confusing reading all the topics. I like that there is one place to read about the show. Just as long as everyone reads all the posts, then they will see all the reviews and stuff. I have noticed that ppl don't read everything. But in the tour section, if you don't read everything, you can miss sthg very important!!

Hi, everyone!!!!!

The show in Athens was unspeakably great, as you can tell by the reviews from everyone. I met Antonis, Nikos, Arista, Lanita, EduRock (from Italy) at the venue. There was a sound check in the early evening but I forgot to write down the songs they practiced. First, Rudolf, Matthias, James, Pawel, and Uli first practiced, then Klaus arrived with the marvelous Greek singer (I am sorry, but I don´t know how to spell his name right now) came out, and then Michael Schenker and Herman Rarebell.

It appears the band was really busy backstage doing numerous interviews with lots of different media people. There was a meet-and-greet around 8:15 and Klaus, Rudolf, Matthias, James, and Pawel signed many things, had their photographs taken, and all of the Greek fans seemed really pumped. There was also a crew taping it for German TV.

The show started right on time, about 10:25. The set-list has been already posted here so I will not post it here. They played 25 songs, and the stadium was packed with wall-to-wall people. There were onstage fireworks, and some flame throwers that shot huge flames into the sky. I wanted to check my hair that it was not burned because they seemed so hot.

Michael Schenker, Uli, and Herman looked really happy to be there, and Klaus invited the Greek singer out and they sang "Holiday" together. They both teased the audience by challenging the audience to follow along with their "Ah-a-HAHs." Matthias seemed to really enjoy playing with Michael. And Matthias also seemed happy when Herman appeared. I am sure that all of them were happy to be playing together. I was on Matthias side so I could see from that angle the best.

We are in Larissa now. This will be the second and last show for us this year.

Wooohoooo!!! A detailed one later..... but really, it was an incredible show

Ok, first , on Saturday we had the party , and I felt like a queen there receiving kisses and hugs (and giving ones) , and I was surprised to see so many participants from other countries , too. There was Sanya from Israel, Haleyna from Singapore, two brothers from Malta , Adrian from Italy (whom Toshiko called Edurock,by mistake, I think...) and then our dear Toshiko and Mad Dog, with whom we just kept staring at each other with smiles " Is it really you!! Live!!! Here is an example of those moments...we will have more later on..but in this one we represent Israel, Finland, Italy and Greece

I will write the next part later, but just a comment for Ruta : Yes , Adrian was crushed , just like anyone else there standing in front of the stage, but he wasn´t complaining too much, cause I was the other side of his sandwich The crowd was sooooooooo enthusiastic !!! It was like swimming in the sea of human bodies....no chance of picking up an extra memory card for your camera from your pocket!!!!
LOL, Toshiko was really feeling for us there ... Bottles of water being shared and spilled on the top of our heads for refreshment ....oh boyyyy ...I wasn´t feeling too bad, I am a big soft woman, and it takes more than one football field to crush me down, but there were at least 30 young girls being carried away, cause they couldn´t stand it anymore..

Contagious? Oh it was so much fun to listen to the boys!! BUT I hung up after Another Piece...so that Jen could enjoy the show. But when I thot I would call back after 30 minutes of not standing it any longer, there was no answer!! Come to find out she was one of them who got carried out!! My poor little girl, she is truly LITTLE too!! I can't imagine what it was like. Kate drew me an example of how they had to stand when we were talking on MSN yesterday and it looked awful!!!
Len, great pix!! I am soooo glad you got to go AND that you had an amazing time. Which side were you on and how was the music and the performance?
