Yes Christy,
I also felt a basic misunderstanding between Renata and you.
I am glad for your redescribtion of your thoughts, because I saw that I had understand your point of view, also, I agree with you.
There are endless possibilities in two differ shows during the same tour, so it would be amazing for me to be able to trawel to more and more shows :):).

This is my favourite band too! But why we must be affraid of it? Everything has it's start and finish. This is the life. We must be proud that Scorpions still sting us since 1972 (first album) or even since 1965 (band's foundation).
I want to see a lot of shows too. But not the same shows. I prefer QUALITY to quantity! So better save your money on some "same" shows and go for example to Athens (Wacken, 1st Colmar). One of my Scorps fan-friends from Moscow was at Athens show some years ago. He said that the atmosphere was the same as he watched on "World Wide Live" video. Full stadium, great crowd, great setlist!

Yes, if the band see your face in firsrt row again and again ... they remember such "crazy" fans  and it´s pleasure for them.

not my case, sorry...I'm not that fanatic to listen to the same CD many times the same day...even different albums but of the same band...

You're right...if the set list doesn't change,it's better to have quality that quantity....but,it's a pitty because they could combine everything, there are so many great songs, forgotten(top of the bill, steamrock fever, now,we let it rock, don't stop at the top, don't make no promises, animal magnetism...)the list is endless, because there so many songs out of te set list for years and years

Ok, if we (I'm talking of me and shark) were rich like hell all our life will be just travelling to different cities to watch the concerts of the fave bands, meet friends and go sightseeing... But since unfortunatly we r not that rich we have some other things to pay than go to several same concerts during one tour.

ScorpfanUkraine, I'm sorry that you didn't have a very positive experience at the show this time. :( I agree that it would be better if they change the setlist, especially in shows in the same region. I saw three shows 3 nights in a row last year, and I won't pretend that I was hoping for a setlist change - at least a few songs. (But it didn't happen.)

As far as seeing several shows on the same tour, I, too, want to see as many shows as I can before they stop touring, since, as Delphine said "they are not young". I guess I'm another of those emotional/sentimental females.

Also, I also have to agree with Christy, Gabi, etc. about each show being different. Using the 3 shows in a row that I saw last year as an example: one was general admission, in the front row, in a smaller venue with a club-type atmosphere; another one was a huge crowd in an outdoor park with a festival type atmosphere; the last one was at an outdoor venue with reserved seats, where we bought front row and were also lucky enough to go backstage. Except for Toshiko and Rolf (who were also at all 3 shows) there were different fans at each show (Sherry, Stormchaser, JabsScorpAngel, etc.) and part of the fun was hanging out with the other fans. Each of these shows was quality for me in a different way, and each gave me a completely different experience. And no matter where I am, there is not much I like more than hearing the Scorpions live. 8)

Now Inna, it is absolutely true for me too.
I must agree with you in this practical part of the deal.
If I were so rich, I could trawel much more to other countries to see our Scorps and Uli, no doubt.
Unfortunately, there are many other places as well for my money to spend it.

Count me in as a fellow emotional/sentimental female! :P If this C2C tour happens next summer, I am going to as many shows as I possibly can. I totally agree with Cristy and others that even though the setlist may not change, the dynamics of the show is different every time, which keeps it fresh and exciting. I've already told my assistant that I am planning to take a lot of time off next summer to go to these concerts and she's on her own. I've been saving money & vacation time, so I'll be ready. Also, I promised my 16 yr old son that I would take him to see Scorpions as his first "official" concert. He did play a big gig about 2 weeks ago with his new band opening for a national act, but that doesn't count ~ he was on stage & not in the audience.

I hope to see you on the concert circuit!
I don't remember being born - It must have happened during one of my blackouts.

Thx Inna for the vids, althought they keep timing out every 10 seconds!! I can still enjoy it somewhat. Esp. Is There Anybody There? sighh.... I sure do love that song AND MJ's solo. Which I found quite irritating the videographer didn't show the soloist playing the solo!!?? I mean, that is what your supposed to do when you are videotaping a band!  :P
