thankseverything is quite simple. I use Tascam DR-1 and set it at low gain (it is necessary for rock concerts). some people also use limiters, etc. but I don't like it. for original file I choose wav (24 bits, 44 kHz). that uncompressed format allows more space for editing. then I try to find place near soundboard, because here the sound is usually the best. then nothing else depends on you. if there are some idiots who scream during first violin's solo or calm prelude of orchestra, you can do nothing about that... then I go home and use Sound Forge 9.0 for editing. that is the most difficult moment, because I'm an absolute profan with all these EQ, compressors, normalizers, etc. and final step is searching for photos on the internet and Photoshop CS2 for making covers
