For analog photos i uses a Praktica MTL reflex. This camera has hand made lenses, and i only can say that i got amazing pictures. I've got some nocturnal pictures that some shops asked me for show them. Possition B and remote, you don't need much more with this cam. I also has an averaged compact analog Konica. Placed in a triphod works fantastic.
With this two i got my best photos. I used to do photos on concerts with my Konica and always i got the best of the pics that i saw of the concert. Maybe the best moment for this camera was in a Thin Lizzy show. The bad thing, to change the film between the crowd.

Things have changed for me with digital cameras. Some years ago I got a crappy Kodak. Is very limited, big and frustrating to use. The focus is very dark, and needs lots of light for get a decent photo, optical zoom x3..what a relic, and for get some decent picture (an amazing pic on this cam is a miracle) you have to fight with the menus like a damned... only worked correctly on Scorpions in Talavera show, and some of the pictures were shown on the gallery, and Matthias used some of them for his page.
Now is the time that everyone gets better pics than me on every concert  Altougth, this Friday failed when i "got" a picture with Gary Barden after MSG show. When i arrived at home for download the pic on the computer, i ony found a black square    It was her death penalty, i'll don't use this piece of crap never more.
I'm thinking on get another in a few days. Maybe an Olympus, but they uses XD memory card, and Canon, but i'm testing now a Coolpix and don't please me alot...maybe i need an expensive camera.

Sunni, that was great, the green is really beautiful on that pic :)
I want to buy a polarizer when I'll buy my camera, by the way the photos will be more coloured, with polarizer, the sky is bluer than blue

These are the pics I took thursday

Watch on photobucket.com

30 seconds of exposure time and automatic whitebalance

Watch on photobucket.com

30 seconds of exposure time and manual whitebalance

In this case, automatic whitebalance didn't give me the real ilumination, but I think the colors are beautier :)

Rot, when we are talking about professional cameras, the image quality of a analogycal one can't be overcame.
And for some places, which are too cold, or hot, or wet, a digital camera couldn't resit. National Geografic for example uses analogycal cameras for many situations.

I like Canon, but for full automatic digital cameras without manual controls, for best results I do prefer Sony, and I would never recomend a kodak.

This is the camera I want to buy  http://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/MLB- ... is-usm-_JM and also a clearly lens which reaches f1/4

PS: Cristy, you should post your pictures here :)

I've found some of my analog photos on the computer, and uploaded to photobucket. I'll scan lots of them in the next days.
It was shot with a Konica camera, averaged compact, not a reflex, that gets professional images. But i think isn't bad for a compact one. The film i'm not sure if it was a 80 or 100 ASA, my most used films, i don't like 400, 800, or more due to the huge grain on the image.

I like to get photos on night lights, buildings, factories and cars, mainly. Not to people, by evident reasons.

Roberta, i know that a digital camera can't ressist 1 assault against an analog camera, but now is the time that all people gets better pics than me on the concerts, and that sucks.
I'm thinking seriously to go at next Vince Neil concert with my analog camera, i'm sure that i'll do a better job.

Hey, you have great pictures there :) Which camera you usedand broken? eheheh

I'm glad you like it  I used a random camera I bought some time ago, HP R607 ;) I'm not even sure if this one is still produced... I'm going to buy something new, maybe Sony DSC-H50, but I'm still undecided ;)

ScorpsSistah, I'm really happy you do!

Well, sony is great, and this one you've mentioned is a very professional amateur camera ^^
But I do prefer Canon, and professionals says thar Canon and Nikon are the best ones if you can, buy one of Canon Rebel line, and you can change the lenses :)

To be honest, I'm still hesitating ;) But Sony is probably the one with Carl Zeiss lenses, which I consider the best ;) And I don't want one to change the lenses in - mainly because new lenses are pretty expensive and I won't be able to afford another one for quite a long time.

I love photography!! I love taking photos at conerts. In fact, if I can find them, I have some of the Scorpions!! I have tons of shots that I took of the Moody Blues!! Also shoot weddings, I have two under my belt right now with a possible third in December. I studied photography at home through the New York Institute of Photography. I use a Canon Rebel XT right now, but I do still own a 35mm. I will see if I can find my Scorps shots (think I have them on disc) and put some up.
