Well I have only now arrived back home from the concert (looks at the time and shrugs)...
*sighs and wonders what could I ever say about that concert...*
To sum it up, Scorpions F***ING KICKED ASS!!!!!
The level of intensity from the band was intimidating, we've always seen them doing their live performances, but this just took everything to a next level for this concert. They had more energy than many bands who are half their age, a blind man can could see their passion for delivering on stage...I didn't really tape much, I just chose to live the experience and have my memories to look back upon...
There were many songs that made my night...from "The Zoo" to "321" to "Holiday" (perfect for us since today is a national holiday

) to "Bad Boys Running Wild" to "Big City Nights" to "Humanity" to "No One Like You" to "Rock You Like A Hurricane", they all had me going fully, Rudi and Matthias were unbelievably sick on those guitars, James' drum solo was top of the line (especially with the showing his tattoo on his back...the crowd went mad with that session), Klaus was just about as perfect as I could expect from a live performance. My lighter fell apart after having it lighting for the entire performance to "Still Loving You"...The *only* song that I wished they played was "Send Me An Angel", but that was minor. However, the clincher for me was hearing "Wind Of Change", it literally brought tears to my eyes, I didn't expect to hear them play that, but they were just that damned brilliant. Hearing that crowd sing those songs like never before, I never expected to have a scene like that here in our tiny country!
It was worth every cent, it sucked that I couldn't afford VIP, the crowd ambiance in General Admission was nowhere as good as VIP, a lot of them were simply standing up and listening, thank god I had my crew to go nuts with...but if they are to ever come back (and I hope and pray they will one day), I am sure to be front and centre, enjoying every bit of it.
To the Scorpions, on behalf of myself as well as the rest of T&T, who I am sure would have similar sentiments, we say a great thank you, and please, DON'T LET THIS BE A ONCE IN A LIFETIME EVENT FOR US DEDICATED FANS. PLEASE COME BACK AGAIN!!!!

I'll try to give more details as time goes by, right now I'm still running on pure adrenaline alone! I want more!!!
It feels so hard to go back to listening to recordings after having them lighting up our country though
