Hello everybody ¡¡¡ ,I´m a little embarrased cause you are all so young, and I get in with the idea of finding someone ,my age ,to be in touch.

Let me introduce myself ,I´m Adriana ,from Argentina ,I´m 48 years old , I use to listen rock bands from the ´80 , and I like Scorpions very much.

I love guitars ,I ve tried twice to learn how to play them ,but I simple couldn´t manage to move my both hands right in time ,so , this is something I have in the list ,for my retire ,or when I manage to slow down a little.

Right now , I am a doctor , and i´m always studing , first the school of medicine ,after the training in Nephrology and recently I´m been doing postgrades in chronic illness such as diabetes and hypertension.

I´ve found my another half in Walter who plays guitar in a heavy metal band , but we couldn´t manage to make it last , although he is now my best friend and the father of my wonderfull 6 years old boy ,Ivan

This is the second forum I¨m in , the other one is about dogs ,wich are animals that I love.

Well that is enough for now , hope to find friends.

Hello there, Adriana!! We have here in the forum more "elderly" Scorps lovers than you know !!
I´m 47, mother of 3 children (3½, 6 and 9) and became an active fan just with the invasion of a computer in my house I´m a linguist but decided to stay home for the children´s wellfare I live in Greece but I´m from Finland originally.

I think it´s quite natural that a band which has such a long history has many fans who loved their music already in the 70´s and the 80´s. The amazing thing is that there are so many young ones who have either grown up with their parent´s or other relatives´ favourite music, or who have just recently discovered the treasures amongst the selection of the old vinyls.

I'm 17, but no worries - as Lucka said, ages don't matter here. Everyone is welcome no matter how old or young! I'm from Finland, also quite far from Argentina.

Roberta is very lucky ,you´ll have a gig in your country soon ,bad luck for us in argentina they are not coming.

Pasando a otro tema, para que subas tu avatar, primero seleccionas Panel de control de usuario (que esta en la parte superior izquierda de esta pantalla), luego Perfil, luego Editar Avatar, y despues encontraras el boton Examinar, buscas en tu maquina cual es el archivo que queres utilizar como avatar y despues de que lo abris, le das enviar y listo!!! ya vas a tener el avatar que queres... bueno, espero haberte ayudado aunque sea un poquito y de nuevo... BIENVENIDA SEAS!!!!

For the no spanish talking people ,let´s say Hi again, now you know me and my treasure , my boy.He was 4 when we took this picture.
You´re all great folks, and for now it´s great being here.

I´ve been reading yesterday some of the posts , it´s winter here and we are having a very bad weather.

So ,Gaby ,I ¨ll be looking for this Gerald Durrel that you have mentioned . I love animals, and seems to be a great story with happy end.I´ve now 4 dogs ,I used to have more ( long story), the youngest of them ,a bullmastiff ,she does a great job with Ivan ,like a nanny , playing with him all around.

You´ve mentioned a great deal of books. I don´t have much time to read , i mean I´m really reading allllll the time ,but journals and papers of medicine , and it leaves me no spare time for another kind of reading.
Anyway ,I like very much my job ,so I ve no complains.

I will keep on reading your posts ,there´s a lot of stuff here, and don´t want to lose my new friends.

Couldn´t we exchange bodies for a day ?? I would love to be 16 again and learning to play my electric guitar.By the way ,it´s a Fender and I believe it´s resting under my bed.

Wich covers do you like to play ?? or you have you´re own stuff ??do you like another rock or heavy metal band from the ´80 or ´90 ,beside Scorpions ?
