Listen, you guys in Argentina and many other SA countries: I´m translating you a part of an interview that Matthias gave in Finland, 7of June. :

In September the tour takes us to South America. We´ll be giving concerts in Brazilia, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile and possibly in Columbia. We are going to play acoustic , with some Brazilian musicians joining us.
The guitarist of Sepultura has already promised to be with us. I cannot name any other ones yet, since the whole idea is still in its beginning. The idea is to take our songs played acoustic to another dimension:
more rhythm, more tempo and different sounds.

At the end of July, Andreas Kisser is going to visit us in our studios in London. In September we will give the gigs. I cannot tell you, yet, if that results to an album or not. If the whole project works well, we might publish a dvd of those concerts. It´s much too early to say anything for sure, but I can promise you: something special is coming up for sure !

Now, did he forget to mention the confirmed Mexico or is it the mistake of the interviewer, I wouldn´t know...

Although I am not a South-american fan from far either lol, but thanks for your translation Lenita, and I am frankly happy for our fanfriends of this part of the continent.
An acoustic concert will be definitely great, and I am hoping a DVD of the concerts and a special project, as Matthias promised.

Lets hope he just lost count on what countries he had mentioned and due to that forgot Mexico... I know from experience that if I have to list something with more that three things, after the second I forget which I said first. And he said five already, sixth might have just been too obvious to him.

My opinion is similar to Emma's one Lenita.
In my opinion it wasn't an intentional leaving of Mexico just it might be a kinda "blackout" of Matthias.

Bueno, vi este topic y no podia dejar de postear, me registre nada mas que para postear aca.
Scorpions es una de las bandas que mas tiempo hace que escucho y cuando vinieron era muy chico asi que no me dejaron ir.
Me parece muy buena esta iniciativa de postear aca y juntar fanaticos para intentar que vengan, pero lamentablemente si un productor de aca no pone la guita, la banda por su cuenta no va a venir. Ninguna banda produce sus propios shows, excepto algunas y en su propio pais. Tiene que aparecer un productor de aca que les arme el show y que les pague lo que pidan.
La verdad no se que tan caro puede ser traerlos porque en alguno de los lugares de Brasil en los que van a tocar son mas chicos que Obras o que el Luna Park.

Espero que algun productor nacional haga el esfuerzo de traerlos y va a comprobar que los fans argentinos van a responder de buena forma. No todos los dias se tiene la posibilidad de ver a una de las bandas historicas del hard rock mundial.

About Mexico, it's because the Country doesn't belongs to south-america, it's central america... but all this is Latin America hehehe Why did he mentionate only South America? ehehe
