For the German band where you can sing the songs, I hope it´s not "Die „rzte" you would be careful with the lyrics singing them in publicity
Ich lebe in Nitterscheid in einem kleinen Dorf in der Eifel (I live in Nitterscheid in a small village in the Eifel)
Prost (cheers)
Claudi

I know this band and some of their lyrics You know there's a song with German lyrics I've always loved. It's called "Am Fenster". I think it's from the '70s. Have you heard of it? And I've been in Germany in a village called Hechendorf in Bavaria.

YesAm Fenster" is a great song. It´s from an east german band called City.

P.S. I like the way you mix German and English in the sentences lol. That sounds so nice and funny.

yes the song "Am Fenster" is cool and you can sing this lyrics without getting trouble
Anais sorry that you can´t send me a PM, I´ll send you one and then you can answer. Something´s wrong with my PM box, but I´ll ask Wolfgang for help.

The book you have is great and like Carmen says it´s really helpful when you first write some sentence and later you´ll built them by yourself. And then I can send you a lot of German Scorpions interviews...this will be a great lesson

Hi Anais.

I was learning German 3 this year but I got cancer and my short term memory wasnt working any good and I had no concentration to do it this year. I am going to go and learn more next year when my body is healthier. They have told me that my short term memory will come back in a couple of months. I have found it a hard language to learn becaue they write their sentences back to front and that was so confusing but not impossible. The German language has lots of English that we dont have in our language and that takes a bit of getting used to also.

Ich spreche schiechtes Deutsch. Viel Gluck mit Lernen Deutsch.

Mara your German is really great and I enjoy it everytime when you´re writing some words in German to me
Yes it´s right, we have English words which are not English at all, like Handy = mobile for example. We also mix so many English words to our language that older ppl are getting crazy, they don´t know what to do with showergel (Duschgel) and everything is for sale and not "Ausverkauf". The children grow up with English, but no one cares about the older ppl who never learned this language
There are also some very hard dialects in Germany, for example here in Cologne they say for Ruhe = Rauh (silence), Schnaps = Schabau
or Bavarian...
g´schickterl = ein huebscher Mensch (a beautiful person)
Oans-zwoa-gsuffa = Prost (cheers)

This are only some examples, we have much more than this 2 dialects in Germany

Bis spaeter

Danke Anais mir geht es gut (nein Christina ich habe mich nicht in Biolek verwandelt)
sorry Anais this was something from German commercial
Carmen said that this book will be helpful for you and Christina only ask if you would understand something from Carmens post

So you can say:
Ich lebe in einem kleinen Dorf (village) namens (called)
Ich lebe in einer kleien Stadt (city)
like you see the word "einem/einer" is changing with the word Dorf/Stadt, but this is grammar and I don´t want to confuse you know....you´ll learn it later.

aber = but
von = from

eine Frau - zwei Frauen
ein Mann - zwei Maenner
ein Buch - zwei Buecher
for the plural we add most time "en" but like you see on Mann and Buch not everytime. There in the plural we use the ä, ö, ü and "er" for the ending. If you can´t write ä, ö, ü you also can write ae, oe, ue (Maenner, Buecher)

Kuss = one kiss
Kuesse = more kisses
Tschuess = see you or bye

I really like when you mix German and English in the sentence and I think it will be helpful for you. So please don´t stop it

Ich wuensche Euch allen einen schoenen Tag

Anais,I'm sorry for my post in German.But thanks Claudi you understood what I meant.I was just explaining you that there's no bad if you copy the sentences from your magic book because this is the way you learn. You will learn later how to build sentences by your own.

Viel Glueck! (Good luck!)
Kuss!
