Scorpions

I think it's probably in their top 3 albums. It came at a time when they were really at the top of their game (not saying they're not now but it was different then). A good solid production and a quality mix of songs. I particularly like Arizona. Great riff and a little different from their other material. I have it on vinyl still from whem it came out. Does the cd have the guys strutting towards the camera in their leathers ? Wasn't the cover artwork done by Helmut Newton who died last year ?

Overdose come to Krefeld. How far is the train station from you home?
You don't have a license. I was thinking about getting a rental car???

Scorpions shows are a good invetment. I highly recomend them.

I have a train station in my town. It's not the distance its the price. With ticket and koncert-ticket it would be about 100 Euro. It's too much for me
And I'm only 17, my parents wouldn't let me go alone and nobody wants to come with me, because it's so expensive or they don't want to got to the koncert

Dark_lady great to know we will see each other in the front row.
I would suggest that we also meet in Frieburg before the show.
I was told front row is standing room on the floor. It is best to be close to me if you want to get up front. I can always push my way to the front row.
We will look for you. And don't be afraid to say HI. You will know us when you see us.

Moshing is when the whole entire crowd moves to the music.
People also run into each other and push eash other as well.
It a lost art form and very fun. It is a good way to reduce stress as well.

Crowd surfing is also part of the mosh pit. However, I am to big for that.

Do you know what I am talking about when it comes to mosh pits?

Bad Boy running wild or Blood Too Hot is a great song for moshing.
Wanna try it at the show? We might need to give Toshiko the heads up before we start so she can run? My wife is also not into it and would push me into the PIT to see if I could get out.

Just an Idea.

LOL... gsantana! German shows aren't so crazy... i think the security would do sth. against... Don't know...I only were at Open Air concerts.
But Crowd surfing sounds great!
I tought you mean, wheater there are frays... NO! SCORPIONS HAVE POSITIVE ENERGY AND THE WHOLE AUDIENCE IS LIKE A BIG FAMILY!!!

Yes, at open air concerts it's easy... i don't know about shows in a hall...
at my last concert in Halbdertstadt, i was on the place before it was allowed. (by chance...) and saw the sound check!!
but i think in halls it's not so easy.

We have a tentative plan of taking the early train from Frieburg to Krefeld on June 4 @ 8:30 am arrive @ 12:00pm. Then we need time to check into the hotel.
Then I guess we are open. Did you want to meet some place? There is a beer garden at the place we are staying??? We will also need to find tickets for the show. I am quite sure standing ones will be available. Do you have any suggestions? Imelda, Toshiko, MadDog and myself will be traveling together.
Unless we can all fit into Nicksharksor Adrains car or unless I rent one.

a question: why don't you buy the tickets in the internet? what's if you don't get any tickets? but you will, i'm sure.
