Welcome Padilla,I agree with you it's something that Klaus had said in an interview I have read.He had said,Nwe Generation is a song that is dedicated to the new generation because the neww generation is the hope of the world,they can make this world better.Sorry my english are awfull but well These & others was written in the interview I read.It's not word by word these this is the main idea ok olol[:}]

I also believe New Generation is about the young people in the world make the world a better place. The sentence "and New York city went all dark" is about september 11th I believe?! Hopefuly the young generation will make a different.
