oh man, that's a shame. but it was a good idea! letters are still fun too, though. letter writing is a lost art, after all. everyone resorts to e-mail now, which is cool too, but sometimes written letters just feel more personal, y'know?

Bonjour gegers. I'm a new member here. My name is Sabrina and I'm from the USA. I'm 27 years old. Well, I sure wouldn't mind having a penpal from France. I have a very high interest in different cultures and languages. To answer your question...
A 'penpal' is a friend whom you write letters to, and they write you back, on a regular basis. 'pen' is an instrument you use to write with and 'pal' is another word for 'friend'. So, when you put the two words together you get 'penpal'!

Also, I'm sure there are more people here who knows Spanish! Am I right, anyone?! Yes, I have studied Spanish, but I haven't yet reached fluency. I can read Spanish better than I can speak it, so that's something I need to work on. Es importante estudiar lenguas diferentes! Yes?!

Arboria, I will be glad to help you with the English if you are having difficulty, and maybe you can help me improve my Spanish!
