Giggs11-I would like to know more about the myths
legends.....
Alex-once again reason and logic....the gentleman
who claim to discover Troy based his thinking on
Homer's IIiad....Heinrich Schliemann just wanted to
find the sites that Homer wrote about.....
He is not looked at favorable in the Archeaology
world...because of his excavation.....he was not
trained in the field.....his find was by dumb luck...
Rather or not this is the City of Troy is up
to what you choose to believe....
Homer could have been a bored old man with nothing
better to do then to come up with stories....
Or he could have written fact.......
What do you believe.......

KB, thats right - clear answer is a luxury in such things ...
But..
It is not the reason to stop (cause like that we can stop thinking at all.. too many unknown in this world)... thinking about this problem and sharing your opinion.. I consider that you have not heard some arguments that russian scintists make, and i have not seen a lot arguments from foreign historians..
