oh, haha, this remineded me the similar embarrassment, that happened with my husband's pertner from Korea, whose surname meant in Russian exactly the same as this French polititian's surname in Arabic :mrgreen:

So when my husband told him the meaning of his surname in Russian, this man changed one letter in it

. And yep, there are many such examples, and yep, it becomes not very comfortable when such an embarrassment happens with a world-known person ( polititian, musitian etc...) - I imagine how Arabian journalists feel when they have to pronounce his name :roll:
