It's somehow a similar situation to the Spain - Portugal game two years ago in South Africa.

And now I have a really, really bad, evil, nasty ... joke. Do you want to hear it?

definitely! go ahead

On friday we (=Germany) will kick Greece out of the Euro!

maybe an answer to what is written in your newspapers these days

lol!!! sorry..stupid me did not think of it at first glance...
nice one though    and im sure the Greeks can take one good joke! ;)
but this is really critical Hans, because, if you think about it the other way around, what if Greeks kick the Germans out of Euro...Absurd! (at least for the moment) :D :D

then of course the Greeks had another reason to forget their other problems for some days. But I can't imagine this will happen. This could happen only if they underestimate Greece, but this won't happen.
We know that Greece is a hard nut to crack, it will be hard enough to play against them but when we are aware of this I don't see a chance for Greece.

And besides: this will be hardly an appealing match - they are now the third team that plays extremely devensive against us.

Indeed...and it seems the Germans are not underestimating the Greeks at all, Loew said they are a dangerous team and we are aware of that..

by the way, the Euro predictions game we are having at work is finished for the group stage and I am in the 2nd place with only one point difference with the 1st! (I got a bigger number of correct scores but he was able to beat me on betting the teams to qualify from each group with their rankings)..
ok so today the first three received their prizes
the winner got 52 Euros, I got 20 Euros and the 3rd got 10 Euros :D
I am mostly impressed by my predictions and so happy about them...

now a new game for the QF, PF and F!

oh, oh, oh prediction game! Now I'm ranked #254 (but still of about 7800) - it seems I won't win a ball with autographs.

btw., do you know what Michael Ballack is doing these days?

it's ok, take a ball to a concert and have it signed by the Scorps :D
but hey, nice rank!

yeah he's being a guest on ESPN analyzing Euro games along with few commentators

Edit: Ok I just noticed your message had a link, I got the right answer then
and lol@ the other guy "leave that to the Germans we can't all be german", I like Ballack's answer, it totally upset the other man, who praised the english team way too much

I don't care about this Euro since my team was eliminated. There's no words to express my sorrow and embitterment.
I don't blame anyone, still love the guys and respect Franz Smuda. I know they did their best, but the truth is that we weren't able to win any match despite the fact that the championsip is happening at our home. The guys are very sorry, I saw them crying and I have no doubt they deserved more.
I'm very sad because I waited for this, was sure we will reach something here ... BOOM! Euro 2012 is ended to me.
Now we will have a new coach and already think about friendly match against Estonia in August.

Hi Anna,

that's really a pity Poland had to leave the tournament after the group stage. Poland deserved to be at least #2 in this group. And I must say Poland was much better than in the tournaments before (WC 2006 and EC 2008).

But maybe you can see it in a positive way. Maybe this tournament has a positive effect on your national team - as the world cup 2006 had on the german team - and Poland will play a bigger role in the future.
