in fact Hans, Im impressed by this Euro's games level so far, a top class one...almost each team is playing with devotion and passion, no matter how low its chances are...well, I think everyone learns a good lesson from Euro 2004..."big" teams know they should not underestimate any other team during the Euro, and the other teams know that everything is possible..
that's why I'm enjoying each single game and trying not to miss any..and it will get even more exciting by the advanced stages :D

Hi Emilie

what do you say? You will watch the game Spain - Ireland? I'm really surprised!

And I have a hunch Spain could win it. To be honest, Spain is still the team you have to beat if you want to wind this tournament. For Ireland - unfortunately - I really don't see the glance to win this game.
But I like the way Ireland plays, they know they are not so good, but they play with heart and passion

I agree about Ireland, Hans. I think it will be a nice match to see. Sadly i'm not in Spain any more to see it, it would have been better. I was there on Sunday but couldn't see the match against Italy. Tonight some of my friends are supporting Ireland and me well, I'd like that Spain win.
Enjoy the matches of today everyone!

i really can't stand italians journalists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

they are already talking about a possible 2-2 between Spain and Croatia , so that Italy would be eliminated even if would win against Ireland........

but what the hell!!!!!! after all the scandals about fixed football matches in italy, they just have the courage to talk about the others of fixed matches!?!?!?!?!!?
these journalists should shut up and to hide before to say this ***, cause once again.......italy did another spectable in front of all the world with that scandal.

oh what the hell was going on with italy? First half: good, really good
Second half: poor, really poor
It looked like as if they thought 'now we are 1:0 in lead, now we can stop playing That was close to a strike

something I don't like about italian football is their defensive strategy, and how they are always satisfied with a poor number of goals...they only do the necessary and put themselves at risk, just like they did yesterday

aaaahhhh, really sad for Ireland. Even it was obvious they had no chance, they played ambitious.

but this match has proven one thing: Ireland has the best fans in europe!

oh what a strange tournament: Poland: out - Russia: out - Holland: out

I hope that now Spain, Italy, England and France will make it to the knockout stage.

Just good in 4 years the Euro will be with 24 teams. But I think they should make it 32. Then you have nearly the level of a world cup and will play against smaller teams in the beginning. How can it be that 4 teams of the top ten Fifa men's ranking are in one group?

And I am really sorry for the Netherlands. But the key to their loss was not the game against Germany or Portugal, it was the undeserved loss against Denmark.

and when you compare this group to group A...unfair!

I totally agree..

Group C's ranking was kind of expected...let's see who's gonna top Group D: England or France...I expect France, they seem more in form...

Céad mile fáilte.....Éirinn go Brach..... :happy-bouncyshadowgreen: ....and for Mr. Roy Keane....Irish fans were happy to be at Euro 2012 after what happened to them at the game against the French 2 years ago before the World Cup.....the hand of Henry kept them from going to South Africa.....so if the 20,000 or so fans want to drink and have a sing-song and the Irish players want to comment on how supportive these fans have been....let them and keep your thoughts to yourself..... :angry-soapbox:

Now off my soapbox.....England could lose tonight and be out of the Euros....I am still not supporting England but I have to say that I never thought I would see Sweden become such a horrible side.....there were some hits to the younger English players what were totally unforgivable.....maybe someone should inform the Sweden side that it is a football game and not a street brawl......now saying this....Rooney will start tonight.....unfair I think but what do I know.....let's see how long it takes for him to be sent off with a red card..... :sci-fi-beamup:

in my eyes the most important match of the quarter final will be Spain vs. France. Now the spanish team has to show how good they really are and if other teams can adjust to their way of playing.

It's somehow a similar situation to the Spain - Portugal game two years ago in South Africa.

And now I have a really, really bad, evil, nasty ... joke. Do you want to hear it?

by the way, I am really sorry for the Ukranians for that uncounted goal!! Im fed up that no one of the referees was able to see this...I think they should finally consider a solution for the "goal lines" judgment by rerun!
but this one was so clear, I was able to see it before the rerun. he obviously took it out FROM the goal...
Poor Ukranians! :(

I'll give a tip: this phrase has a double meaning

And for the Greeks:
This is just a joke. And I know it's a nasty one

maybe an answer to what is written in your newspapers these days
