Happy birthday, katerina!!!! I know it has been a long time. I hope you have/had a great day.

My user name used to be "moodyloner". I remember the talks we used to have.

Have a great day.

ps. I still have that picture of Klaus and his "finger" on my wall.
Only now I live in a different place. That photo will travel with me forever...

Hello my dear Scorps-friends! I hope you'll forgive me for being so late to post here.

Hans, how can you with your 00:00 topic blast simply like that our whole scientific theory about men and birthdays?? ( ) Thank you so much. Especially for calling, that was a very nice surprise. :D

Lenita!!! don't make me say I am touched now. Ahh, damn I said it. Thank you.

Elton man!!! Now this is also a great surprise to read something from you!!! :D :D :D How are you doing?? How's the baby?? I wish there would come an opportunity to meet again, like Berlin!:-)))

I hope your cake is chocolate and not feta

eeeeeeeewwwwww Thomas!!    Thank you! For your peace of mind, it was caramel.

Thank you very much Mary!! How can you not have a great day when you get so many wishes from all over the world? 8) :D

My dear Adriana, thank you very much. Unfortunately your wish didn't work. My father made the mistake to buy some very sneaky little candles. On the back side of the package there was written "go off only in water", but they looked so normal that no one paid attention of course, until I (tried to) blew them. We (all together) were lucky to manage to blow them finally just before the cake started to burn.

shugarrckbx, oopssss, someone doesn't know a name here... THANKS!

Galya, thank you again girl. Ok, probably the Alps didn't shake the moment I was born, that's someone else's feature, but still I'm honored you consider this as a big day.

Emilie, once again thank you very much! All the best to you too, I'm happy you're having such a crazy great time

Adrian!!! You'll never fail to put a smile on my face with this greeting of yours  Can't wait to meet you again too, with you it's a pleasure to kick an ***'s ass    ( :-* )

Hey Jess, thanks!! It was nice to meet you, although I need to re-fresh my french until next time.

Thanks Susan!!!

Thank you Ruta, I heard you are having a good time in Belgium, with pink soups and someone who can't live in a living room and stuff. So, now that we have one unbiased judge in this old fight, tell us, which beers do you like better, belgian or german?

Cristy, thank you very much for your card!! You'll be getting an email from me soon. Hugs, kisses, roses, teddy bears, Kate

Hi Gabi, thank you! I'm sorry I stopped translating long ago -so long that I don't even remember when  But this year I have a little time-problem. It would be nice to meet, if you are not too angry with me.

Hi Kristof! Thank you! It was nice to see you in person in Cologne. Greetings to your wife!

Moodyloner, of course I remember you!! Chad, right? Where have you been..it's nice to hear from you again. I'm pretty amazed at the story with that picture.. All the best man.

Thaiany, scorpssam, Nemain, Anna-Natalia, thank you so much for your wishes. Have a great day!

And a big thank you to everyone again, for taking the time to post something here, especially those who don't really know me that much. :D Have a great day everybody, many sunny greetings from Greece.

Happy Birthday Katerina, It's a bit late but hope you still had fun!

haha Kate :):):):) I tried only 2 types of beer here in Belgium and liked neither of them, so I guess for now Germany 1, Belgium 0  but we'll see we'll see :) :) I still go for Lithuanian, no one says it has the best beer because it's a small country but there's one soo amazing, if we ever have a chance to meet, you'll have to taste it ;) 8)

Oh I totally forgot about yours!!! I liked the one of 6.5%, still have to try another one, stronger :) but yesterday I tried one dark beer, it was too bitter and the one with cherry was just disgusting.. :P

Ha! The 6,5% is the best IMO, the 9% one is also a bit more bitter.
And cherry beer is for girls and little children! Not for dark ladies from Lithuania!

This is what happens when the belgian host ends up getting drunk with his own beers before having tasted all of them

Hi Kate !

Everything is OK here, thanks. Been busy lately going around ...... for work.......
Baby is fine, thnx. It is a pleasure to write down something on your topic, my bro Adry got me the words from my mouth when he called you "principessa"........I wish you once again all the best in your life

As about beers, Ruta I have to disagree with you abut belgian beer.........Been in Belgium very oftenly in the last 6 months, I have to say that LEFFE is the best I have ever tried
I like MERCEDES and PORSCHE as well, but SCORPIONS are the best german engine

They are UNBREAKABLE !!!

BTW I was a guest at Ruta's place that evening so hardly a "host".
BTW2: That cherry beer wasn't mine  (like lemonade with a twist of alcohol I suppose, although there exist good cherry beers as well, but if you go in that kind of beers, I personally prefer gueuze, these beers are btw typical for the region north of Brussels).

katerina wrote:Damn..I remember I also was for belgian beer...

Really? Have you ever tried one (not that I'm curious of course)? I have a feeling this is turning from a birthday topic into a bier-saufen topic, maybe I should change the title 8)

therocker wrote:...I have to say that LEFFE is the best I have ever tried

Blonde (tripel) or brown (dubbel)? Have you already tried a REAL trappist (Leffe can hardly be called trappist)? Like Westmalle or Orval or Chimay? Personally I prefer Westmalle dubbel.
