Lately I've been listening to a lot of Evanescence. I need a tough girl singer to listen to in the car and sing along with at the top of my lungs to make me feel better about myself. I hate boys right now. Amy Lee is my hero right now...just for being a girl that rocks and shows that she doesn't need men through her lyrics.

Mostly, I've been listening back to tracks of my own stuff; trying to figure how to improve, expand, etc. I'm taking a break from all other music because I don't want to be influenced by other's work, so I can keep all my music new to my ears.

...Some day I should look into investing in a little recording dealy. ...But, the piece I've been working on is still untitled. All I know is that it's very rhythmic, uses open notes in contrast to ..well, no scale I can recognize, and I haven't come up with a lead for it. ...Then again, the rhythm section is so full that it doesn't really require another instrument. ...Bleh, I'm too tired. haha
