Hurricane Isabel knocked a big fat tree on a house across our street. They (working mother, high school daughter, elemetary school boy and girl) were forced to move out, cause the house belongs to a city now. Landlord received a check for the house and suddenly doesn't know the former tenant. (he only paid a dollar for that house...my dog house looks better than that house) Now the family is homeless (living in her car---she works for a landscaping company).
No one really liked them because the place was always full of bad kids---but still she needs to have a place to live for her children...she has bad credit history so can't even get an apartment..does anyone know where she might be able to go for help?
(she doesn't like strict places where she has to follow too many regulations---though I don't think she is in the shoes to be picky...)
