CAN YOU SAY WHOLLY CRAP!!!!!!!!
THIS SHOW WAS OFF THE HOOK!
Opener:
Yngwie Malmsteem..POWER FAC'N HOUSE! the man shredded! He did manage
to start songs(black star,trilogy,etc..) but
he didnt finish them it was a sort of MEDLY from this ARPEGGIO GOD.
( not sure of spelling)He also used the guitar AMPS to play the end of one song,but
he thrashed the strings so he tore the damn thing apart String by string!...WOW
Steve Vai:
THE MAN WAS SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! I would have to say he had taken the show with
his Technique! WOW! clean, clear, flawless!..And when he played "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD"
I WAS FLOORED!...but that was just the start!
He has on BASS guitar none other then BILLY SHEEHAN..DAAAMN!..then on keys, YES GANG,THE ONE AND ONLY
TONY MCALPINE! THAT MAN WAS CRAZY!...
Steve also GET THIS LADIES,...USED HIS TONGUE to play some "licks" I gatta say I was majorly exicted to see this! WHAT ACTION! ..But what I liked alot was when Steve gently
"blew" on the strings to make sounds!.....sooo sweeeet!
JOE SATRIANI:
ok gang THIS GUY JUST KICKS ASS!..his sound was clean crisp clear and just plain ass AWESOME!
he played some great tunes...Always with you.Always with me,Crushing Day,and more BUT
I was most impressed with his song "POWER COSMIC"....the man used his RIGHT hand as a bridge in the neck of the guitar..then his LEFT hand underneath to play the lead. ONE HANDED FOLKS!..WHOLLY KA JEEBEEZ !
THEN THEY ALL CAME OUT AND JAMMED:
Yngwie.Steve.Joe.Tony.Billy.and yes YET ANOTER GUEST APPEARANCE by:
Neil Schon of Journey...I'm tellin ya gang GO SEE THIS SHOW!
They all stood on stage next to each other and then they all crossed arms to play the guy NEXT to him's guitar! THEY WERE FAC'N AWESOME!
I HAD A BLAST ...OVER ALL THE YEARS BEST CONCERT!

I am so jealous that you got to see all of them live! I really like Satriani's style but have never seen him live. Did he play 'I Believe'? It is kind of mellow but has some amazing guitar work.

Wow, a guitar lover’s dream. What a great idea to package these artists together for a show. I’ve only seen Yngvie live, and that was 15+ years ago. Vai is awesome, and Satriani is my favorite of ALL guitarists. I’m surprised Tony McAlpine played keyboards. He is a great guitarist in his own right. Thanks for the review OCS. How big was the crowd?

Eric..sorry no go on that song....
As far as Tony goes..ys he did play keys..but he did ALSO play guitar!
Shredd head!...He was with Steve...and Billy too.The crowd was Huge and all into it!
Sorry if I forgot to mention that...
I did leave out ALOT of stuff cuz I was just floored.
Things like at the end when they All jammed together Yngwie lost his Mic during the song Voo doo Child by Hendrix..then..they lost ALL monitors! they couldn't hear themselves and
were jammin anyways!...Also they all played "COME TOGETHER"..by stones..
Oh gosh gang give me time to remember the rest cuz it was alot to soak in!... I will post as it all comes back!!! LMAO
