Nunny alot of gay people deny that they are & date people of the opposite sex. Just because they say it doesn't make it true.

kb- I do watch the news and I am quite aware of the crap that goes on in the world. I also know of many good things that happen worldly. So, I do not have my butt plugged into the computer.

I'll take a pork chop too I guess, because Beowolf will definitely send me in as well. I'll be in good company though.
One thing I do know is that those tigers aren't going to take any flack from either of those two fags anymore. I'm sure word has spread throughout all the tigers that if they go for the throat, then it excuses them from finishing that ridiculous performance with them.

I started this topic to let people who might be fans of Siegfried and Roy know about what happened in October. I didn't start it so that people like Skip, Screweylewis, and Silver could show how f.u.c.k.i.n. prejudical they are.

Saylorgirl, Roy did write that it was good to hold his hand again. So, What! That doesn't make them gay! I mean, my God, this guy had two feet in the grave. He nearly died! Besides, how do you know that a straight guy wouldn't write that to another man especially when faced with death!
These two men have had a business partnership that has lasted for decades. How many people can say that about a marriage between two people!
Funnynunny, your right! Just because two people live together under the same roof, doesn't make them gay! If that was true, then every man in the world would be considered gay! Are men who live in the same fraternity house gay! Are men who share the same apartment as roommates gay!

The Scorpions ideology is against racism, violence, and hate. At the Kunstler Gegens-Rechts Concert, Klaus and Matthias went to perform the song Wind of Change, but before they did Klaus gave a speech. He said that we must stand up against racism, violence, and hate and that they must be stopped in this world.
I think that if they were to come to this topic they would be extremely disappointed in a lot of you who have spread the message of hatred and intolerance. You have done this by putting down two people who I have admired and whose ideology is the same and who have done a lot more in this world than most people will ever do. You say that they should have been run out on a rail a long time ago. Well, I think that prejudical people should be run out on a rail. If it wasn't for people who preach violence, hatred, and racism, then there would be more tolerance in this world. Then there would be world peace.
From a psychological point of view of human nature, those who keep attacking the sexuality of others by saying that they are gay are hiding the fact that they are gay themselves. In other words, these people are the ones who are actually hiding their own homosexuality and short comings by attacking those they preceive to be as gay.
Siegfried and Roy might be icons to the gay community, but that does not make them gay! If they were to come out tomorrow, nowadays it wouldn't hurt their career at all.
Onecrazysquaw, you say that who would like to be held captive. Their animals are not being held captive at all. Their animals live in the lap of luxury. They have spent millions of dollars in creating suitable habitats for all of their animals. Alot of performers place their animals in cages at the end of the day. Siegfried and Roy allow their animals to roam free in their home. Their animals sleep on linen sheets when they roam free. They get the best medical care, they get the best food, and they get pampered like you wouldn't believe. When they do go into their habitats, they go into an extremely clean habitat with waterfalls that cascade into pools of water for them to play in. Their so-called cages are the same color as their natural habitat which is white. This way they are more comfortable and secure in their surroundings. How many animal sanctuaries can claim that they go above and beyond their animals own needs? None of them do! I have seen video fotoage and pictures of animal sanctuaries where the animals live in small cages, there are no pools of water to play in, no toys, and sometimes there is even no shelter. Some people call this an existence?
Some of you have stated that others are bringing threats into this forum by defending these two men. What about what some of you have written! Let's see! Siegfried and Roy should be dead, the tiger should have killed them, gay people should die, and so on! Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I would consider these remarks as very threatening.
For those who are attacking the ones who are helping me to defend Siegfried and Roy, I have just this to say. Leave them out of it! Your intolerance and your hatred should be directed at me because I am the one who started this topic! Like I have stated before, I started this topic to update people on what happened to Roy and to make people better aware of the plight of endangered animals. Instead, some of you have turned it into a gay bashing! Well, Enough is Enough!
Those who do the gay bashing are just showing how much of a bully that they can be! When confronted, a bully will scurry away and hid like a rat. I won't allow myself to be bullied or pushed around! If every bully here keeps it up, then you will see why the high school football team gave me the nickname of Beowulf in high school!

I mean we're talking about a tiger who has enough pressure in his jaws and enough strength that he could have snapped Roy's neck in two instantly! He didn't! He sensed what was going on and what was about to happen! I believe that the tiger knew that Roy was about to have a stroke. The tiger just sensed it. After all, if a dog can sense it when their owner is about to have a seizure, then why not a tiger being able to sense it when their caretaker is about to have a stroke.

By the way, I've jotted down a few names of some of the women that they have had a sexual relationship with from their bio.
Virginia-their first female assistant. They both dated her. She was a dancer with the Folies. Roy has also stated that he dated a French girl who taught him French. Siegfried had dated a half-French/half-Polish dancer from the Lido. They have also dated the stars of the Lido, Nelida, and Nicole Gorska while in Paris.

Whoa so defensive again.

First of all I could care less whether they are gay or not. The fact is Roy was injured by his tiger during an "Incident" on stage. I am glad he is doing so much better.

Secondly from my experience, I have actually been borderline cardiac arrest before, I almost died and I can tell you the first thing I thought of when I was better was not that it was good to hold my best friend's hand, but to thank God I was still alive. I really don't know of any straight men who would say that even faced with death.

Third, tell me how you can say that ALL opinions are welcome & then turn around and say that prejudiced opinions are not welcome. To me that is a contradiction.

As far as the tigers living a life of luxury this is true & they are extremely pampered but they are still captive, they are not free to live as they would in the wild. I understand that this is in their best interest but they are still not free.

Now as far as Roy having a stroke, that is the 3rd or 4th different explaination I have heard for what happened. I have also read that Siegfried said that Roy had fallen ill from the effects of blood pressure pills & the tiger was trying to protect him. But it also said that animal behaviorists don't agree with that & believe that the tiger was on his way to delivering a killing blow. So nobody can agree on what really happened. Roy is alive & that is what counts.

As for who they have slept with, I really don't care.

Perhaps we all should just drop all of the insults, threats, and all-around meaness. We are all on this site because of our love for The Scorpions. We should all just settle down and leave well enough alone.
Beowulf- if nothing else, we should stop responding to the people who want to insult us and Siegfried and Roy. They only want to rile us up. By responding to them, we are only letting them win from us the response they want. Lets not give them their jollies.

And Actually Nunny,Tigers will eat any form of meat...just FYI.
I have to say that I do not agree with animals performing for the amusement of humans. But with out real sanctuaries, All tigers would be extinct in about 10 yrs...Tigers in the wild, will be. In the case of S&R, I think they have done more good then harm.

As an American...the constitution of this country is all about freedom of expression, whether it expresses agreement or not. Insinuating that someone hush up and go along whether they agree or not, is a direct contradiction of what America is supposed to be.

Beuwolf any admiration I had for these 2 men is gone since reading that they wrote in their bios the names of women they have slept with. What wonderful men you admire, they have more respect for their animals than they do for these women. Obvisiouly they felt the need to prove something by printing this. Gay or not it was not a gentlemanly thing to do.
