I receiwed a great link from an ex-student of mine.
It is an amazing webpage, full of audiobooks, reading English.
It's a huge collection of "treasures".
You can find almost anything from shortstories, through crimestories, till poems, and classic novels.
I have already downloaded many things, but so many still left.
You can dowload free total legally.

I'm reading 3 books now...

1. The biography of one of the greatest theatre directors and pedagogues, it's really an amazing book, and I agree with many of her points of view on how theatre should function, I really miss some of those in today's theatre in Lithuania.

2. I still have to finish Peter Brook "Empty Space", he's French theatre director, one of the greatest examples, too.

3. Kevin Kelly "What Technology Wants", I read an introduction, have to continue... it's very interesting, on how technology was evolving from the very beginning till nowadays, and he speaks about technology as a broader field, not only as we are used to understand it.

I've also got a present from my cousin, a novel of one of my favorite Lithuanian writers, I've read almost all of her books. And I have one more book laying on my table, it's in Spanish, written by Jorge Luis Borges, called Ficciones, I want to read it in order to learn Spanish a bit more... it consists of short stories, I bought it last summer in Washington DC after being consulted by one Spanish person I met in the bookstore... :)

I love reading books. It's a magic how a lot can be hidden between the book covers... I think of Kindle as a great invention, but it will never change a real book!

I totally agree with your point Ruta.
Reading is my main hoby, and joy over listening to music.

I read two books simultaniously as I do it often:

I am quite interested in psichology, I have many different books in the subject.
Now I read a german psichologist's work, tittled: Forgive yourself.Another one is a novel of a hungarian writer, who has very good books, but it is quite weak, and boring for me, a kinda disappointment, so I am leaving it alone, and am choosing something else.
Fortunately, I have a huge book-collection for long years. :)

I'm reading "Sinuhe" by Mika Waltari at the moment but I'm thinking of starting to read "Bim with black ear" by Gavriil Trojepolski or "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austin. Now I only have to decide which one :D

So I have just finished my sister gave me called Patriots. It's by John Wesley Rawles. The interesting thing about it - is it was written two years ago about the financial collapse of the United States and all that followed. Considering what is going on now, it is definitely something to think about especially after 3 days when no one can get food. I think I will go get Farfal's book about the collapse in Argentina.
The old days were the old days. And they were great days. But now is now.

Simultaniously two total differ stiles as usual.

1. A really interesting, unique work, I hardly can stop reading it: Way of your spirit by Dr. Michael Newton. (an american psichotherapeutist)

Another one is a novel by George Eliot.
I like this British writer from the XIX. century.

Emilie, that's a great novel, I really liked it in my teenhood, when I read it, it had a huge influence for me.

As for me, after the great, but serious/hard book, I chose a big fav of mine from my childhood for re-reading as my nostalgy for having a brainrest.
It is Erick Kesner's the most well-known novel about the two little twingirls.Eventualy I listen to it in an audio-format, it is read by a young, hungarian actris, she interpretates the story really very well, it fits to her voice, I amuse great. :)

I think the same, it gaves you some influence after reading it :) I must say that it was one of the only book that I had to read for school that I liked :) And it's interesting to learn that part of the history.
