Lol Mike, it might be very useful.
My question is after it: What did Sara read last? Was it a cookingbook or a handbook of young moms with practical advise about bringing up of kids?

Hi Gabi, yes it was very useful (lol)
As for Sara, well she reads all the time. She is currently reading a book by her favourite author of the moment - Simon Kendrick (a British crime/thriller author). I can't remember the name as I am at work so can't look either (lol), but I will check for you this evening.
Before this, one of the book's she read was Digital Fortress by Dan Brown.
I don't read novels. I am a factual book man. Prefer to read reference books and book's on real life. Which is why I know so much on the world

Gabi, actually Sara has finished that book - it was called A Good Day To Die by Simon Kernick (I got his name wrong  )

She is now reading 'RING' by Koji Suzuki
(yes the novel that made way to a great Japanese horror movie...)

Lol sorry Gaby, I ment that how have you time enough to read a whole book every day beyond your learning.

I am living my Durrelperiod now, so I started another great book of his last night, tittled: "Drunk forest." It is about his experiences in Argentina.
He and her wife traweled to Argentina in 1954 to collect some unique anymals for zoos of England.
He wrote his impressions and funny stories about anymals and people who they met, spicing it with his killer humor.
This guy was a genious and he really did alot for saving of anymals of the world.
Well, this kinds of people can truely save the world, I mean I do believe in good intention of these people to save the world, not in rethors.
I also can say retorics for the world, it is not a big deal.
Ok lol sorry, off-topic, just it came into mind in connection with Durrel, because I maximally admire and respect him and his work for anymals.

I have a suggestion if you don't mind it friends.
If somebody of us reads a novel by a writer from her/his own nation, we could give each other a short summary of the book and some basic info about the writer.
Just because ok, we know worldwide well-known writers but you don't know hungarian writers and their stories, I don't know romanian, brasilian, etc writers and their work, but we could help each other in getting to know them.
Just because for example: your book that you are reading doesn't mean anything for me now Carmen, it is just a tittle and a romanian name, but you could inform us more and we all each other.
It is just an idea nothing more.

they say he's a Prix Goncourt winner.... did anyone happen to read Echenoz? strangely enough, i like Au piano.... though i dislike reading about reincarnation. i don't think it's scientific... but today's morning in metro it occured to me...and what if some of these people are living their second life? :?: so...not a bad book if it makes you think

Gabi, you're right,I could have written a short summary of the book. But believe me,you don't want to know anything about it.I'm just reading it because I need it at school... I don't like it at all!
Anyway,it's about a boy,Felix, who went to his cousin,Otilia. They fall in love with each other but none of them admits it because of different reasons. The book is actually about the lifetime Felix spends in Bucharest at his cousin.(I just liked a small part of the book when a character gets mad and he thinks he is Jesus!  )

Lol yes Carmen, I see the situation of "have to read" thypes of books, but I liked summary of this novel.
I must confess that I don't really know romanian literature, but this story doesn't sound bad for me.

Julchinda,
This book sounds interesting for me, because I believe in reincarnation, and am interested in books in this subject.
