I think that for you KAMMO, the 4 minutes demanded between two posts must be very inconvenient. Your posts take only 10 seconds to make up. (Yes let's insult each other).

That's a bit rude, but I think I'll take that back, my dear friend, I don't want to anger you. Sorry. In fact I like concise posts.

I was just joking........sorry if i angered you

Hay KAMMO, I took your joke for serious. I thought it would be a good idea to insult you back somewhat. I'm happy we didn't let it escalate as in some other topics. Your posts are OK and much appreciated! Once we'll get to know each other...

Yesterday I took some pictures of my city my town Utrecht, together with my sister and her son of 2 (months). I just got the pictures via e-mail. I still have to process and upload them to my website. I hope the result will be satisfying. You'll get the address.

Yes that's good because you look sort of pale in that picture of you doing those obscene things to those trees.

Well well well, finally even *I* was given the chance to see that you are just as disgusting as Silver The Pervert. And I didn't believe people telling me that...
Oh yeah, just kidding around with friends is better than dear Jonny sending me dirty pms, btw.

And, no, I don't wanna talk about it.

Last Saturday I went to a cultural festival named De Beschaving. There was a gig by the Dutch-local band Bettie Serveert. I liked it a lot, especially the girl (guitar, vocal) of course. They don't play hard rock, but it is rock for sure.

Do you know them? I don't want you to go and buy their cd's immediately, but personally I want them in my room.

For quite a while I thought it was a nice to let my posts go accompanied with tulips. You know, me being Dutch and all. However, I recently looked at the file names of the supposed tulips: rose.gif and rosesad.gif. So I discovered that the two flowers available are actually supposed to be a depiction of roses. Blast.

I propose that when you see me using these 'roses' you look at them as if they were tulips.

Hi Kammo!

Three weeks ago, I got a thank-you e-mail from a Brazilian guy as a reaction on something that I posted on Usenet in 1998 (title: "How to list a registry key i D3" - 1998/12/13). Can you imagine? That is 5.5 years ago!! These computers remember things.

How are you, Kamil? Are you continuing your study in Canada? What is your subject?

Greetings, Christiaan.

Hi ..i'm fine, you ?
Canada is so beautiful country and of course more civilized than my original country , but you know.....i'm gonna have hard time....everything is new and so different ,the culture , language , traditions ...... it'll take time to adjust with all these things.....and i don't know anyone here yet
anyway.....i have studied mechanical engineering for 2 yeas in Syria ......so mostly i'm gonna continue in the same faculty but i have to wait for the second semester , cuz now i have to take some english courses .......you know i have to improve my english and maybe i have to study the TOFEL to be accepted at universities here......so my english is going to start next month and it may take 2-4 months to be ready to enter the university .......so ....that's it i've talked a lot , enough for today
see you

I know how hard it can be to live in another country with its own language and customs etc. I have lived in Paris (which is not very far from here at all) for 4 months, doing practice for my study a long time ago. Making friends with the French was hard, with the other foreigners was a lot easier. You need to be sociable -which I am not always- and to have a good hearing -which I don't have either. At work they were nice and it was a good experience.

Spending so much time learning French at the time wasn't very useful, I forgot most of it. Learning English on the other hand will never be such a waste because I use it every day, be it at work, on TV or on the internet, even on this forum.

My thoughts: I have tried living abroad, but it's no good for me. I'd like to stay put.

Success!
