Good luck in reading all the nonsense we've posted here.

Hans somehow likes the idea of Galya.

So maybe this post should be deleted, so that this topic gets buried sooner.

Yeah, why should we bother about the others? Do they think that they're any smarter than us?! Persecute those!!!
Hm... we don't necessarily need to bury the topic. It's quite a nice place to chat, so... We'd better change the subject and start flooding. Eventually our little secret will be buried in dozens of pages.

Totally agree with Adri!
@Anna. yeah he is! Super cool man he is, with a nice voice and wonderful guitar skills, which reminds me of James Hetfield. I remember I even had a crush on him and thought about him all the time, even drew a series of 3 of his pics =))

Well, as far as I'm concerned, the topics don't have any limit of pages. Thanks God!

I wonder if any of you have ever become close friends with a person a lot older or a lot younger than you? Have you felt a very strong attachment to this person, when you're not afraid of discussing any possible subject? When there's no unease unlike with your parents, relatives or beloved ones?

I loved the "born to touch my feelings" phrase adriana

Well, I guess it's not about the age since we were born....but yes the maturity that we adquire over the years. So, I know younger pepople than me, with who I can have a normal conversation....but I also know older (like 5/6 years older) people, that I can't stand talking to and their maturity seems like they're 5/6 years YOUNGER than me.

But in my case, I feel confortable talking about anything with anyone  but that's just who I am  In general cases, I think that's not 'unnormal' AT ALL... It metters who the person really is , and not the age

When I was talking about "a lot older", I thought of 30 years difference, so Adriana is right - early 50s or late 40s. And I added "a lot younger" to encourage those of us who are already over mid-40s to share their experience.

Asking this question I was thinking of my teacher of English. I can't say that we're already very close friends, who know everything about each other. The only thing which stops me from bringing these relations to the personal level is that I know how many people come to her in search of help and what an enormous amount of work she has to do. She already has a lot of problems of other people to solve, and I simply don't want to make her solve my problems if I have any. Increasing other person's responsibility is not what I like doing.

But ,but ,but .......that`s not what a friend does ....a friend doesn`t solve your problems ...she /he just help you to find a way out

I feel like I need to put a word in here, too. You see, through this forum I have met many people , who are 'on the same level' with me, and by 'level' I mean sense of humour, way of seeing things from an unconventional angle, a healthy amount of self irony etc. And, some of the best friendships are with people who are a LOT younger than me, it just happened that their personalities matched with mine. We talk of all areas of life after being over with the 'getting to know each other better' - period.

However, sooner or later, the age difference shows, and it has mainly to do with the life experience. If I have some personal issues to deal with and I´m pouring my heart out as to any 'best friend' , that person has no way of helping me with her/his opinion simply because she/he hasn´t gone through any of those stages herself, yet. So, inevitably, the friendships with a big age difference will have to stay limited for very practical reasons. It´s a one way road, because I can give many pieces of valuable advice to a younger person, or just to tell her my own experience, but it´s difficult for me to get any insight in turn.
