Hello Girls¡¡,

we gotta find another Topic to discuss, we are done with this one. :D

I would like to read a male opinion ,about our discussion, but don´t have any male friend here in the forum ,to ask for his point of view ........ :(

I was wondering ,if any of you know in person or are friends of some of the people that are around here ,in the forum. For example Len ,don´t know if you are near Katherina´s ,in Greece , and Sal ,I guess you might have met somebody in the concert.

Well ,I have sent you pics of some of my friends at the master , luckily they are very good friends , and I enjoy studyng and spending my Fridays and Saturdays with them, and Ivan with Dina ,he has given her powder milk , so she has her muzzle full of white powder

A hug for both

Yes Len....you read my mind! I have not seen him here for a while....let's call for him :D

"Elton....oh Elton...where are you....... "

Let's see if he answers us

I guess we did burn that discussion out........but I like the anaytical psychoanalyzing.....it is actually very interesting.

To answer your question....no I don't know anybody from the forum personally and I did not get to meet them at the concert this year but......hopefully there will be a show next year and my friend and I have decided to try and get front section where they usually sit and not the back like this time!!! We bought the tickets with others that did not wish to sit up front...... and we thought about it too late.and I was also not a forum member that long when we bought the tickets so I did not really realize they would all be up there...next time I am planning on it:

Sal ,I didn´t realize about telling this to you yesterday ,but there is a Topic " The stuff Amend and Azzof , just can´t do " ,where there is a link to get tickets to assist a TV show of Judas Priest.

Don´t know if you like them ,and don´t know if it´s too far from where you live ,but a least I want to warn you. :D

Haven´t you find Elton ?? Who is him ? The rocker ? ,maybe you could send him a Pm and ask him for an appearence as an invited guest to our topic ¡¡¡

I will try to send an invitation to another one ,let´s see if I hook him in .... :D

Where does one begin to comment. You all make some valid points. And it is obvious that maost of you talking about women making sacrifices happen to be from Europe or South America. As for American women putting family ahead themselves, ha ha ha, yea right.

Interesting point to the person that said a woman cannot be in love with a guy who can cook and do female things. Kind of ironic that you can have such a guy that makes the ffort to help out and make the woman happy, yet, he can't be loved. Yet the perenial jerk will always be loved and chased. need not look farther than someone liek Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue. A total loser in every definition in the book. Heroine adict, womanizer, user, jerk, yet women swoon over him. Maybe it is a womanly trait to want to be treated badly maybe? It's also the reason we have a saying here, "Nice guys finish last", as women don't want nice guys.

Ted :D

Thank you for sharing with us your opinion Ted. :D
You are very welcomed.

Anyhow , I would like to rectify one point .
When I said that we can´t be in love with a man that expresses his female side in such a way ,I have in mind the model of man who doesn´t fight to progress in his field ,or that is confortable about his woman going out to work and leaving him behind to deal with the house and child´s.
Another thing is to help in house holding , we surely apreciatte a hand ,when we return home from work, as equals.

There are some women who likes to be treated badly , Im afraid you´re right on this.
Although ,I don´t think it´s our situation, speaking for the three of us here. :D

And yes, Ted ,we do want nice guys ¡¡

Hello,

Well that is interesting.......I agree with some of the comments here. One thing is for sure....I would love a guy that knows how to cook! That is one of my hobbies and it would be fun to cook with somebody :D

I think Ted is right that some women do accept poor treatment from men and like the bad boys but as a woman, I notice a lot of the same in the reverse. I know many nice men that do not like nice women and I don't understand any of it. My friends and I have had this discussion on several occasions and we frequently get interesting comments from mutual friends particularly married couples regarding this phenomenon. The husbands tell us that we are very down to earth ladies and don't understand what the men want out there. I see agressive ladies that do not always treat their significant other so nice yet the men put up with it.... so go figure. I guess in my circle "nice girls finish last." :?

Also, I happen to be Italian American (born in the US) and definitely believe in family first as that is how I was raised. There are a lot of people out there that do not put family first, as Ted suggested, but please realize that is not all of us American women

Adriana, thanks for the info on Judas Priest. I know where that studio is located but I would have to take time off of work to go because it is not easy driving through that part of Hollywood during rush hour.....that crazy Los Angeles traffic makes a 20 minute drive an hour drive easy! I would never make it on time. I believe it is the Jimmy Kimmel studio. I am familiar with that location because I was part of a committee that volunteered to put on an Italian festival, the feast of San Gennaro, and many of the committee members work on that show so the festival is held on the same lot where they have the concerts every September.

Good night.....ciao!

Sal

Good morning Sal ¡¡

I would also fall in love with the cooking type man, but for an absolutelly different reason : I don´t want to cook ever again if it´s possible

There is a film with Catherine Z Jones, two chefs falling in love ,you made me remind that film .

Why don´t you assist to a chef academy ??, you surely will find the man of your dreams. :D .

And what about you Len, what have got your husband ,that makes you attracted to him , if you don´t mind me asking ?

Well, Adriana, I don´t know if you ever read my story about how I fell for Scorpions in the first place...cause there you can see my husband giving his appearance as a guest star, also
That was 21 years ago, and I was working on my first assignment as a tourist guide in the island of Kos in Greece. OK generally ,especially Scandinavian girls have always had a lot of attention in these Mediterranean countries and I was a typical specimen. But , especially , being a Finnish girl , I have never much liked that open abundant obvious flirting that I was receiving with all the others. You know, when a man talks to you and you talk back, and it looks like he is not listening a word you say, just measuring you from head to toe (maybe because he thinks that´s what he is supposed to be doing to show that he is a man  ). I really hate that, I find that degrading.

Anyways, with my husband it was different from the start: he had a normal conversation with me and I was like : wooooohhhh, finally a man I can relax with and talk normally! Intelligence has also attracted me always, so he we are : married for 10yrs with 3children.

Oh, boy! It was about 2months ago when Cristy collected stories to make a book about "what Scorpions mean to me" and there was another topic also called something like Tell me your story ....
What ? Are you seriously suggesting that my husband would get involved with all this??   He is not a rock person, he doesn´t like me spending so many hours on the computer where he can see the face of Klause staring back at him  , and I would never ever suggest him even to read the forums. THIS IS MY AREA

Hello !

How is it going? I have been in and out this weekend since it is a holiday weekend here in the US. I am ready to go to the beach for dinner soon so I happy to relax :D

Well......I agree with you again Len! I like to connect with people with good conversation and do not like all the acts...you know it gets old. Adriana......I joined some gourmet cooking clubs and I will start going to some of the functions.......at this point in my life I am starting to do the things I like besides just working :!:
That is why I am here as well.....I love music....I have a music outlet and now some cooking clubs.

I do not remember your post Len about your husband but I will go back and check. BUT.....I like your spark....the forum is your area and your husband has to watch Klaus staring back
This is making me laugh so much.......we need more husbands like yours

Ciao!

Good night Girls ¡¡

Did you go to the beach to dine ? I am so envious  ,it seems a quite relaxing plan.

Anyway, I´m hoping to finish all what I have between hands now ,cause I find myself a bit anxious to do some things for myself , I mean ,altough I like studiyng , I´m quite bored , and want to do different things next year.
Still have to think about what could it be , ( besides helping Ivan with his first grade ) :D , but definitely ,I need more social life.Lately it has all been about books ,exams ,work  and my son. :D

Bye.

Hello,

Hope all is well.

Yes I went to a beach about one hour away in Ventura County. I like it there and we do a lot of shopping then dined at a restaurant overlooking the Marina. It was nice and cool compared to my area. 8)

Well after you are done with you exams you could relax and think about shaking it up a bit. Are there any cool clubs you could join? People with similar interests and hobbies? That is a good way to get started, as I know for me, sometimes it could be difficult to go out there take on new things. Don't get me wrong, I like to try new things but sometimes it is hard to get out of our comfort zone.

Have a nice evening...ciao!

I agree with you Sal , I´m going to look out for that kind of activities.

The only men I got to know nowadays ,are doctors , and I did have already my experience with one of them ,so thank you ,next time I pass.....or maybe not , and I try another shot

We lose Len again ¡ But now she is a kind of star ,as she was in the video for Rudy´s birthday, if she doesn´t show up tomorrow I´m going to write to her ,to know what does she know of Rudy´s impression with that vid. :D

See you Sal,

Hello Shahenda , nice to meet you in person ,I have already read a lot of posts by you. :D

I´m glad you join us ,you´re free to pick a subjet and talk to us here, we call it our chat corner. :D

Oh ,I´m sad with the guitar stuff ,but hopefully you will find one .

Yes , that is Ivan ,my son . I love being a mother ,it´s a wonderfull experience , and a very tiring one as well. They are proving their limits ALL the time, and is difficult to find the balance in arguing with them.

Come back, you´ll be very welcomed ,
