Hello Scorpions fans from all over the World!

I've been visiting the Scorpions' site for a long time (even when it was not like we know it today), but it was only some days ago I had the time and opportunity to become a registered member.

The first time I heard the Scorpions I was 6 years old (back in 1984). My father listened to "Still Loving You" on the radio, and quickly bought the 45 rpm single in vynil (the B-side was "As Soon As The Good Times Roll"). Yes, I was only 6 years old but I was really impressed with the guitars on "Still Loving You", since I grew up listening to my father's records, mainly guitar oriented bands like The Beatles, The Shadows, and Jean Michel Jarre (no guitars!). I can say that The Beatles, The Shadows and The Scorpions were the real first Love of My Life . And that's how it all started... Then became Savage Amusement and Best Of Rockers N'Ballads, which was the first time I heard songs older than "Still Loving You". The rest is history... bought every record from Scorpions and my love for them grew everyday and got deeper and deeper...

I was always fascinated by guitars and guitar players, and started taking guitar lessons when I was about 12 or 13 years old. Then I founded many bands with friends and played covers (one of the covers was "Rock You Like A Hurricane") and some originals in bars for some time. Unfortunately I had to quit because I started to work and 3 years ago I went to University to study Computing.

My hobbies include Scorpions, Guitar playing, listening to music, Internet, Cinema, Astronomy, computer programming...

Those are all good bands and good guitarists!! You got good taste in music. you forgot one guitarist though, Jimmy Paige.

PS:
Taken_by_Force - I did not forget Jimmy Paige, he is a wonderful guitar player, but I think he is not as good playing live, as he is playing in the studio.

Oh, your tastes are really great!!! I like Metallica, Pink Floyd and etc too!!! And also Led Zeppelin, Rammstein, Deep Purple...
But I'm disagree with you - Page is a greatest guitarist!!!!! And LZ sounds on the concerts greatly!!! Now he's just old...=)))
P.S. Oh, you've forgotten J.Hendrix!!!!

Welcome Skywriter in this family ,i'm a fan of the Scorps from almost 9 years..........after the Big Scorps came...........AC-DC / Heroes del Silencio / Aerosmith.........and many others, but those bands are the best for me.
