lol - schlafen, lesen und fernsehen für 2 Tage.... prima!
Ich habe nichts ungewöhnlich getan. Mit 3 Kinder es gibt immer viel zu tun. Mein Mann arbeitet nicht heute, so mindestens wir zusammen frühstücken können! = sleeping, reading and watching TV for 2 days.... great! I haven't done anything unusual (is the word I'm using correct?). There's always a lot to do with 3 children. My husband doesn't work today so at least we can have breakfast together.

Ich habe heute viel Zeit in der Küche verbracht und einen leckeren Wildschweinbraten mit Rotkohl gekocht.
I´ve spend a lot of time in the kitchen today and cooked a delicious wild hog roast with red cabbage.

Am Donnerstag ist Feiertag in einigen Teilen von Deutschland und wir werden unsere Familien besuchen.

Here´s the recipe for the red cabbage... I think I better post it in English, if one of you is interested in the German version Please let me know and I´ll translate.

1 middle to large shredded red cabbage
3 diced sour apples
2 diced onions
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. salt and pepper
2 tbsp. water, apple juice or red wine
2 cloves
1 bayleaf
butter or lard

Head the butter or lard in a big pot and stew the onions in it for some minutes. Then add the red cabbage and stew it for some more minutes. Add the apples to the cabbage, the water and all spices. Cook it for 30 till 40 minutes and stir it time by time.
