What an AWESOME Idea!! I collect not only "Scorpions Band" items but just about anything that has to do with a "Scorpion" Necklesses (I even bought my son a yo-yo with a real scorpion molded in it)I even have a regular "Scorpion tattoo" (Not band related) But I'm looking forward to getting the "Lovedrive" scorpion tattoo somewhere on me soon. You can count me in on the Scorpion Chain!!

By the original post it seems that the band will need to be on tour NEXT year to receive these cards. I did not see where it states these will be mailed to the band. If that is the way this is working then why would I mail it to someone who would just mail it later to the band? I was just suggesting a way for ALL fans to be involved especially the one's who do NOT feel comfortable giving out there address. So as GOHESSE states what if they don't go on tour NEXT year. I believe with the new album there will be a world tour, so even if they start a tour next year they may not be in the U.S until the following year, possibly.
I am also curious as to what kind of gifts are being exchanged. I just sent Nuno some stuff today, but I forgot to send him one thing, a post card!
I just thought it would be cool to see how many fans respond by sending a post card from their region and see how many the band gets by the time the European concerts begin next month. This could even inspire the band right before they go into the studio to finish the new album. Instead of putting my name on some list from someone's personal website and hope I get a gift and hope the band might receive these postcards. NEXT YEAR! By the way where are you mailing these things?
I really don't need any gifts sent to me except a new album and a world tour from the GREATEST ROCK BAND EVER ON THIS PLANET! That is the best gift but by sending the postcards simultaneously and from all over the world (to Nuno if agreed) wouldn't that be a great gift TO the band?

Kudos, sailorgirl. I think the gifts is a sweet idea. I don't think it has to be something expensive. As long as it is Scorps related...I'll love it.

Well, I understand (or I might have misunderstood...if so correct me please) that this chain started with a very simple but kind Saolorgirl's deed to another fan, and Paula came up with the idea.
And what makes this chain special is (just my opinion) that it( sharing the love for Scorpions, frindship, and so on) is given from one fan to another, and to another, to another. This is not the same as fans just send things to the band, not "ME AND THE BAND" but "WE CONECTED TOGETHER AND THE BAND".. I don't think sending band postcards was the nail thing--it is just the nice extra--- because we can see how chain spread all over the world in the end, and because the band can see it, also. or have I misunderstood anything? oh well, It's already started, and we can see what happens. As for the gift, of course it doesn't have to be expensive. I thought sending postcards (to other fan) saying hello might be enough to bring us closer.

Maybe next time (suppose it's too late for this time) we could do the poemathon...( a fan writes a few lines of poem and pass it to next fan, who will add a few lines and pass it to another fan.....? Also inspring musicians can do the same with music notes...? (or maybe not such a good idea..? it might take too long ...??

lol FunnyNunny Webmaster has been using his time and skills (and nerves to put up with us) on this website that provides not only information about the band but also the chance to bring fans from all over the world..maybe he should be also receiving our thanks ... But then, of course it would be sooooo nice if he could join.. (2 cents postcard?? ) (did you get to see what nancy made for you yet?)
