Yesterday, I saw Herman Rarebell in Malchin Germany at a Biker Party. It was a good" show but I must say It was The "biggest" Bikerparty with the smallest audience, there were no problems to get a place in the front row. There were maximal 9 persons in the front row, The rest of the audience had gathered at the beer booths.
After the show we met Herman and the band, He was really friendly and I'm happy that I finally got the chance to meet him.

Now I'm ready to Rock in Stuttgart!

Guys, I`ve rented a car from Hahn airport.. Right. I`ve payed, but we should leave driver`s credit card and they will freeze a "deposit" till we return it. I read the terms millions of times and do not know how much money have to be left as a deposit, cause our credit card is limited.

What the terms says:
American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard, Visa
Credit card is required in drivers name.
This booking can be paid for by either credit card or debit card. Car rental agents require a credit card in the driver's name to be presented at the rental desk. This is because a deposit is required which is held on the credit card until the vehicle is returned. In some countries you may be required to present two credit cards when renting higher vehicle groups.
Always ensure that the card has sufficient credit available at the time of rental. The amount authorized is generally the insurance excess and the fuel deposit, but it varies depending upon the size of the vehicle, the age of the driver, the car rental agent, rental duration and pick up location.
In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card or lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card, car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

So, please, do you know how much usually they freeze? Cause if we do not have this amouth in the card, they won`t give the car

i don't know.....
once in spain it happened to me that i wanted to rent a car with my "debit card" but i can't becouse of it, i could rent a car only with a credit card.......
i've been lucky that a friend of mine gave me his credit card to rent the car even if he didn't travel with me (renting company didn't know it )
about the amouth to leave to them......maybe better if you send them an email

i remember you told me something about your situation......."a credit card for a no driver.....and a debit card for a driver" ......right?
could you rent the car with the name of the one who has the credit card (and drive license) and then let to drive the one that has the debit card?

I don't know but how much do you need to pay?
Usually they can't freeze more money than you have to pay for the whole rental period.
I think everything else would be strange.

Plus where did you rent a car?
Sixt, Hertz, Europecar, Alamo, Avis or Carpartner Nord GmbH
They all have different terms and prices.

Let me know where you rent the car , maybe I can help you when I ring to them and ask for the terms.

I just found an information on the website of Hertz

At the time of rental, a deposit on your credit card blocked on the basis of the estimated rent plus the cost of a tank of gas, which varies depending on the brand and model of vehicle, rounded to the nearest hundred euros. There must be enough cash available on your credit card to cover all costs.

And on the website of sixt:

The tenant is obliged, at the start of the rental period for the fulfillment of his duties as a security (bond) a sum equal to three times the agreed rent (plus any other charges agreed, such as indemnities, delivery charges,
Airport fees) plus VAT at the applicable statutory rate, but at least afford to be in the amount of 150 EUR,

It is crazy. I`m dealing with this for a couple of days. First, I contacted the Bulgarian office. They`ve answered me (we have booked the cheapest car) - 1100 euro! I was more than shocked. Then I started looking for mails of Frankfurt office and send them mail - no answer. I was reading everything in the Terms, nothing.. No certain ammounts were mentioned. But it was said that if we do not have needed money for deposit of the car THEY have the right not to give it to us + no refunding the money.

So, finally, yesterday, I called there.. in Germany and asked. And a nice lady told me " You should have at least 500 euro! AT LEAST! These are money that are freezed so we can`t use them during the trip. Gosh...

Maybe it will be cheaper to rent a car by Buchbinder or sixt. I saw a offer for 30€ per day!
