someone I know, got charged exhorbitantly extra for ordering from this store.....no thank you!!! Damn, we're fans, not idiots! Or maybe we are idiots for continually feeding this greed. Sorry, it's making me sick that so many of us who are not in the position to spend this kind of money are being taken advantage of. And by the one band I swore were the most decent and honest in the industry. I don't know anymore what's going on with them. I guess they have to hurry and make as much money as possible since their money source will soon be gone!! ***!

Well the store is in Euros so if your bank is in another currency, they will take advantage and make you pay extra fees.

On the other hand, if they offered different currencies for the Scorpions merchandise, the banks would probably charge them even more fees (like credit card fees, etc) for them to change it too.

Merchandise is always really expensive to start with. :(

I have a business account with Paypal and I foot the bill for my customers' orders. AND I make the choice of payment for my customers' particular currency on the invoice after I have figured out the difference with the dollar; Canadian, Euro, Pound, whatever it is and pay a couple dollars at best for every $100. So I don't know what the prob is.

 But seriously folks...... :P

Anyway, I ship all over the world, including Vietnam, Egypt, etc and there is a very small rate that I pay with Paypal. You figure the diff with the currency and charge accordingly with the currency choice that is on the invoice. I don't know how to make it any clearer, Scorpions!! PAYPAL!! I used to ask MJ why he didn't use Paypal. It's universal for cryin out loud!!

I'm sure they have their reasons, because they did use Paypal for the Meet & Greets they had in France.

Perhaps, Paypal just isn't that popular around the world as it is here. Or maybe too many fraudulent activities or easy to get a refund. Something legal I'm sure.

I am not trying to be disagreeable, but Paypal IS used all over the world, it's preferred over most any other way to pay. ESPECIALLY for businesses. It's extremely secure, and they stand by you if there's a problem.

There is no excuse for a business of any kind to not use Paypal and for it to be in such a way where we are charged ridiculous bank fees. I am just shaking my head at the nonsense of it all. I am a teeny little business with very little sales and these ppl are big and yet they don't sell to their customers that keeps from the banks charging us obscene fees???? There is no excuse for this, none! And if Scorps or anybody doesn't like what I am saying....prove me wrong!! :violence-swords:

Oh I'll disagree with you that Paypal isn't extremely secure. Many people refuse to use it for many reasons. I'm not saying I don't use it, I'm just saying I know many people who will not use it specifically for international selling.

So I'm happy it's worked out for you and Paypal, but just because your business is running great by it doesn't mean it's the solution for all businesses around the world.

Paypal is an option the Scorpions can use, but I can understand why they don't. So there. :)

Soooo we will agree to disagree!! :P But, I have communication with far too many suppliers, buyers, business ppl, etc. that use Paypal all over the world and are more than happy with it. So there.... I would love for Scorps management for the merchandise to tell me the reason they are not using it tho. If they have a valid reason why they are not using sthg that keeps their fans from paying such obscene bank fees, then I am the first to concede. Those who know me as being someone who defends her position vehemently, they also know that if you present to me arguments that hold validity, I will back down and reconsider my stance. BUT, until they do so, I say SHAME ON THEM!! There are far more poor fans than not who suffer from being charged these fees. :x And the M&Gs? How dare they! Nuff said.
