I was looking at the dates and after DC or after the wacken fest there is plenty of open space, But i guess we have to see how the tour is selling . prices are pretty high so I don't know .... any chance maybe for the Minnesota,Illinois and Indiana State fairs ?
Its looking very doubtful for any dates being added in August in NA. So if there are anymore it will be after the DC show. But i will tell you one thing and alot of people are going to be mad at me. But tickets are not selling well right now across North America. I check ticket sales daily. This was my biggest fear. In North america we get so many touring packages during the summer and with the economy being so bad most fans have to pick and choose on what shows to see. In a 21 day period in the Washington-Maryland-Virginia area we are getting:
June 30- Iron Maiden/Alice Cooper- jiffy Lube Live
July 10- Def Leppard/Poison/Lita Ford- merriweather post pavilion
July 12 - Scorpions- merriweather post pavilion
July 20- KISS-Motley Crue- jiffy Lube Live
So alot of fans have to choose between these shows. And the KISS-Crue tour will be the tour of the summer which now will hurt ticket sales even more for the Scorps. That is why i wanted them to tour here in the Spring. So they had no one except the Van Halen tour to compete with which with a good touring package would of been okay.
tanker wrote:As Scott as said that ticket sales are slow, another reason could be this ticket BS that start with this site linking it to a ticket broker.
People will talk to friends or read what happen to them when they try to get their tickets.
Just remember word of mouth can make or break a business and the actions of the management and promoters are breaking the business here in North America sorry to say this but it's true. The way the US is being treated is a joke with only 15 shows for two countries. But yet France gets 13 shows this year lets compare land size.
The size of France is 547,030 sqare kilometers, 211,209 square miles, while the land mass of the U.S. is 9,161,923 SQ KM.

Well for those who don't care about the cost consider this. My son's birthday is July 11. His first show was Merriwether in 2010. He represented the new generation who felt the sting. I was going to pay approx $4,000 tonight on ticket master for the meet-and-greet in Philadelphia. But I second guessed and did not buy them mainly because I'd like some sort of assurance that the set-list will be different. So consider this as another reason a die-hard life long huge fan has reservations about this tour. This band wrote the soundtrack of my life and I'm tired of not hearing the many diverse songs they wrote after spending thousands over the years to support them. I want to support them, but even tho I can afford brokered tickets, I want to know the band cares. The wind of change this year means Klaus must tear down the setlist and mix it up. Thanks

Kottak and samples as back-up are just small things you can do to bring back songs that the US fans are dying to hear. We know you are human and understand it's not possible to still hit all the high notes, but please for the sake of the people who love you guys, and have supported you for your whole career.. change the setlist. This is not a reflection of what you cannot still do, but what legacy you can leave.
God Bless.
. Why don't the guys have us vote for the songs like they've done a few times before Kasarific5 wrote:Man I really, really hope they change the setlist for the upcoming US shows. Why don't the guys have us vote for the songs like they've done a few times before
